Elvey Farm- Elvey Farm is a medieval farmstead in a magical setting, tucked away in 75 acres of Kentish countryside. Elvey Farm was built in 1406, and not much has changed since. It is positioned at the end of a long, winding lane, with breathtaking views over the fields and hills in all directions. The perfect rural retreat, you can stay in stylish suites in the 16th century stable block and dine in the beautiful restaurant specialising in Kentish dishes. The Queens Head Hotel- This 17th-century coaching inn is located on Ashby's main high street. Family run, it offers home-cooked English food and a lively weekend nightclub. The Queen's Head Hotel is close to all the main local motorways, and a short journey from Birmingham and East Midlands Airport. An intimate front bar is open until either 22:30 (Sunday), 23:00 (Monday to Wednesday), 00:00 (Thursday) or 01:00 (Friday and Saturday). On Fridays and Saturdays, the hotel features Ciros Night Club (open till 02:00) and The Loft Bar (open till 01:00). It's popular and so a bit noisy, but residents are on the club's guest list. The hotel also features a large outside smoking area and a TV lounge.

Berties- This historic building has enjoyed a variety of uses over the years. In the 18th Century it became a coaching house called the Kings Head. In 1995 it was renamed 'Bertie's' after the P.G Woodhouse character Bertie Wooster. Our team of chefs have gained recognition from the aa and Good Food Guide. Bertie's specialises in traditional British fayre but our chefs have blended culinary nostalgia with modern flair and created a very different menu. The menu may feature 'Homemade fishcakes with a tomato herb sauce' alongside 'Brochettes of monkfish with a lemon and chervil dressing' or perhaps 'pork and herb sausages on a bed of mustard mash' alongside 'Roasted rack of lamb with figs and a sauce of ginger'. It is not all full meals, we serve simple lunches and snacks using the finest fresh local produce. In the evening the restaurant is transformed with linen napkins and candles. Parties are catered for with special menus available on request. We can also offer very comfortable guest rooms. these are all en-suite with a television, as well as tea and coffee making facility

Bloomfield House- Bloomfield House is a fine, friendly, family-run Georgian house with elegant rooms, fine art, antiques and splendid views across Bath from its quiet, elevated position. The town centre can be reached in a 15/20-minute walk. There is a regular bus route for the return uphill journey. Bloomfield House was built in the 1790s and was once the home of the Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress. It is a Grade II listed building and has good environmental credentials. Pets are welcome at Bloomfield House. Full English breakfasts are organic, Fair Trade and ingredients are provided by local suppliers. Each room is individually styled, with either a four-poster or half-tester bed.

Brantfell House- Just a short stroll from Ambleside's village centre, this beautiful Victorian house has excellent breakfasts and 6 boutique-style rooms, many with views of the fells. Brantfell has a Visit Britain Silver Award and is personally run by the owners, Chris and Jane, who aim to offer a relaxing stay with personalised service. There is a welcoming lounge with a traditional log fire, and free access to the nearby Low Wood Leisure Club. Olde Moat House- Amidst a tranquil location, surrounded by its own moat and set in 3.5 acres of grounds, this lovely medieval property provides the ideal retreat from the stresses of modern life. The Olde Moat house dates from 1460 and is located just 15 minutes' drive from Rye, on the borders of the historic and unique Romney Marshes. The house is noted as being of historical and architectural interest, and listed Grade II. It boasts a wealth of oak beams and an enormous inglenook fireplace in the lounge, which is for guest use. The sloping floors in some rooms, and heavily beamed landing, give a truly authentic atmosphere of times gone by. This establishment holds the coveted Gold Award from the English Tourism Council, which is only given to a handful of the best bed and breakfasts in the country.
