Holgate Bridge York - The Holgate Bridge is close to the centre of York, one of Europe's premier historic cities. At the centre of Yorkshire, York is an ideal centre for visiting the county's many attractions. A warm welcome awaits you at our friendly, family-run establishment, offering comfortable accommodation only 10 minutes walk from the historic city centre. We boast a large car park for our residents during the period of stay. Check-in time indication is required on booking - the latest being 22:00 hours, unless prior arrangements are made.

St George's - St George's is a family-run bed and breakfast with 10 individually decorated en suite bedrooms. This Victorian house is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac across from York's racecourse. It is a 10 minute walk to the city walls but less to the start of York's many wonderful eating places. From here to get to the city center you can either walk round on the walls at Micklegate Bar towards the spectacular ancient Minster or under them where the shops start. Both ways take around a further 10 minutes, so it is 20 minutes walking from us to the middle of town. Our emphasis is on friendliness and cleanliness. We offer full English breakfast in the dining room or relax and take advantage of our breakfast in bed at no extra charge. If there is anything else you would like us to get in for your breakfast or for your stay please just ask us.

Alvera Court - Colin and Brenda Grant offer a warm Scottish welcome to holiday visitors and conference delegates to our attractive, friendly and comfortable totally non-smoking home. We are small, privately owned and run by ourselves, offering twelve individually decorated bedrooms. Visit Britain Four Star guest accomodation, centrally located opposite the International Conference Centre, with a short stroll to the town centre, the bus and train stations. We are a town house with stairs to all levels. Sorry we do not have a ground floor bedroom. We have our own private car park next to the hotel, and look forward to offering you the facilities you expect, but with a homely and friendly atmosphere. Access at all times once checked in. We do not serve dinner now as there are more than seventy restaurants a five minute walk from us into town. There is a trouser press, iron and ironing board available.

Granby House is just over half a mile (800 m) from York's historic city walls and York Minster is only a mile (1.6 km) away. York Railway Station is 0.7 miles (1.1 km) away. York Racecourse is less than a mile (1.6 km) away and is as pleasant for a scenic walk as it is for the races. All of the en suite rooms are clean and comfortable with full central heating, TVs, tea/coffee, radio alarm clocks and hairdryers.
