The Bell - The Bell is a beautiful half-timbered coaching inn dating back to the 16th century, situated in the small market town of Clare, in the heart of Constable country. The inn is well situated with Cavendish, Long Melford, Sudbury, Haverhill, Lavenham and Bury St Edmunds all within easy reach. The 15 en suite bedrooms have been tastefully furnished and all have full facilities. The majority of our bedrooms are in the old stables at the back of the main building and ground floor rooms are available. The Garden Room, lounge and public bars offer excellent menus including English classics and an extensive wine list. The Tudor Room Restaurant, open on Saturdays and for private functions, offers dining in beautiful surroundings. The Bell also offers conference and banqueting facilities for up to 60 people and is a popular wedding venue.

The White Horse Coaching Inn - Located by junction 41 of the A14, The White Horse features a 500-year-old coaching inn, a large car park and a large beer garden with decking and covered seating areas. The inn is located 4 miles (6.4 km) from Bury St Edmunds; 8 miles (12.9 km) from Newmarket and a 25-minute drive from Cambridge. A cafe with leather chairs serves a range of coffees and specialist teas. Sutton dining room can seat 30 people and features a seating area with leather sofas. The Bay Horse - At the edge of the market town of Sudbury, this traditional family-run local pub offers en suite accommodation, a friendly atmosphere, free Wi-Fi and free parking. The Bay Horse is within walking distance of Sudbury's town centre and is situated on the main Bury St Edmunds road, the A134. The Bay Horse is run by your hosts, Charlie and Micaela, who pride themselves on offering a relaxed, friendly atmosphere and comfortable en suite accommodation. The rooms are located to the rear of the pub, separate from the main building. Each room has a TV with Freeview digital channels, a hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. The Wheatsheaf Inn - In the sleepy village of Exning, this inn run by a local racehorse trainer is situated just 5 minutes from Newmarket town centre and racecourse. Six Bells Inn - The Six Bells is a perfect country escape set on the edge of the village green, near the duck pond in the pretty Suffolk village of Bardwell. Originating in the late 1500s, the Inn was enlarged in the 19th century and more recently by ourselves. It now offers a characterful blend of old and new. Totally surrounded by countryside, it offers total peace and tranquillity, great food and a country atmosphere. Yet due to good major roads links of the M11/A11 & A14, it is a surprisingly easy drive from London and the Midlands. We offer all of the delights of a country inn: excellent food and drink in a friendly and hospitable atmosphere. Gordon Ferguson and his team prepare a varying 3-course dinner menu each evening. The dishes range from the contemporary to the traditional. Prime local produce, fresh fish, Suffolk pork and lamb, and game in season are prepared daily for you to enjoy. We also offer a limited vegetarian menu and a small evening supper menu. The Olde Bull Guesthouse - In picturesque Sudbury, this 16th-century coaching inn provides an excellent restaurant and charming rooms.
