Ship Stores Guest House - Ship Stores is a lovely B&B offering free Wi-Fi throughout, a friendly welcome, and a tasty full breakfast selection included in your room rate. The 17th-century building is in the beautiful historic village of Clare in Suffolk, and was the former village store. The Bell - The Bell is a beautiful half-timbered coaching inn dating back to the 16th century, situated in the small market town of Clare, in the heart of Constable country. Highbury Barn Restaurant and Rooms - Warm and welcoming, the Highbury Barn is close to the historic market town of Sudbury, which is off the banks of the River Stour, where Gainsborough once sat painting the stunning countryside. Also close are the villages of Long Melford, Lavenham and larger towns such as Colchester and Bury St. Edmunds. Dating back beyond the 16th century, Highbury Barn has kept its character. It has exposed beams and a real log fire, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere. Relax after a busy day with a glass of wine, before dining in the fine restaurant, which offers full waitress service and a full range of freshly prepared dishes. The Wheatsheaf Inn - In the sleepy village of Exning, this inn run by a local racehorse trainer is situated just 5 minutes from Newmarket town centre and racecourse. All food, including a delicious breakfast, is home-cooked from fresh ingredients by the chef. There is a large conservatory for dining, as well as a separate restaurant.
