The Bell - The Bell is a beautiful half-timbered coaching inn dating back to the 16th century, situated in the small market town of Clare, in the heart of Constable country. The inn is well situated with Cavendish, Long Melford, Sudbury, Haverhill, Lavenham and Bury St Edmunds all within easy reach. The 15 en suite bedrooms have been tastefully furnished and all have full facilities. The majority of our bedrooms are in the old stables at the back of the main building and ground floor rooms are available. The Garden Room, lounge and public bars offer excellent menus including English classics and an extensive wine list. The Tudor Room Restaurant, open on Saturdays and for private functions, offers dining in beautiful surroundings. The Bell also offers conference and banqueting facilities for up to 60 people and is a popular wedding venue.

The White Horse Coaching Inn - Located by junction 41 of the A14, The White Horse features a 500-year-old coaching inn, a large car park and a large beer garden with decking and covered seating areas. The inn is located 4 miles (6.4 km) from Bury St Edmunds; 8 miles (12.9 km) from Newmarket and a 25-minute drive from Cambridge. A cafe with leather chairs serves a range of coffees and specialist teas. Sutton dining room can seat 30 people and features a seating area with leather sofas. There is a 3-meat carvery every Sunday at Ascot Servery. Seven quaint en suite bedrooms have tea-making facilities, Freeview TV and allergy-free bedding.

Six Bells Inn - The Six Bells is a perfect country escape set on the edge of the village green, near the duck pond in the pretty Suffolk village of Bardwell. Originating in the late 1500s, the Inn was enlarged in the 19th century and more recently by ourselves. It now offers a characterful blend of old and new. Totally surrounded by countryside, it offers total peace and tranquillity, great food and a country atmosphere. Yet due to good major roads links of the M11/A11 & A14, it is a surprisingly easy drive from London and the Midlands. We offer all of the delights of a country inn: excellent food and drink in a friendly and hospitable atmosphere. Gordon Ferguson and his team prepare a varying 3-course dinner menu each evening. The dishes range from the contemporary to the traditional. Prime local produce, fresh fish, Suffolk pork and lamb, and game in season are prepared daily for you to enjoy. We also offer a limited vegetarian menu and a small evening supper menu. We can prepare additional vegetarian dishes, gluten free dishes and cater for other dietary needs if we are advised of your requirements prior to your stay.

The George and Dragon Inn - Situated in a small town, this inn provides real ale, good home-cooked food from local suppliers, a fine wine menu and live entertainment on a regular basis. The George & Dragon has a selection of comfortable rooms. As an old coaching inn, the rooms all have different character and layouts. All have en suite facilities, tea/coffee and TV. Some have Wi-Fi internet access. The inn features a large court yard, secluded gardens, and ample parking at the rear. Fishing, archery and air-gun shooting can be arranged as part of your stay, as can the viewing of wallabies, capybara, horses and donkeys.

The Plough Inn - This beautiful country pub occupies a privileged location close to the main cities of Cambridge, Newmarket, Bury St. Edmunds and Sudbury. The White Horse - The White Horse is a friendly country pub in the picturesque Suffolk village of Beyton. Located close to the historic town of Bury St Edmunds and within easy reach of Newmarket and Cambridge. The White Horse offers six guest rooms in a converted barn, all en-suite, five with bathtub and shower and one fully accessible disabled room. The White Horse is famous for its traditional English homemade food including a large selection of vegetarian dishes, all of which can be enjoyed in the lounge and bar areas or al fresco in the large garden or patio.
