The pub oozes history, from the Cavaliers names etched into glass, to the ghost stories and medieval decoration in the oak beams. The bright, clean rooms have oak beams and uneven floors and walls that reflect their age. Lively music nights take place at weekends, and folk music, Morris dancing and traditional games are often hosted. A fine covered patio area is ideal for alfresco meals surrounded by beautiful gardens and the surrounding hills.
