The Pilgrims Rest - The Pilgrims Rest is a sympathetically renovated, Grade II listed, late 16th-early 17th century building, now housing a bar and lounge area, a dining room and 6 en suite bedrooms. The Pilgrims rest has a rich and fascinating history. In the early 19th century, the building was home to a farrier, whose forge stood next door. As recently as the early 1900s, part of the building was a butcher's. Today, the property has been carefully restored and sensitively refurbished by your hosts, Gerard and Denise McNicholas. There are now 6 en suite rooms with all the comforts the modern traveller requires, including tea/coffee making facilities and flat-screen TVs with Freeview digital channels. Each room also has a work desk and ironing facilities. The Pilgrims Rest has a bar and lounge area and a dining room where breakfast is served or where an evening meal can be enjoyed. Free wireless internet is available in public areas. In the centre of Littlebourne, on the A257 main road, only 4 miles (6.5 km) south of Canterbury, the Pilgrims Rest makes a good base, whatever your reason for visiting the area. Free private parking is possible on site.

Banque House - This elegantly appointed Victorian-style hotel is small, select and very comfortable. Our well maintained accommodation is close to the Channel Tunnel, town centre, the Leas, shops and local restaurants. This long established, non-smoking, centrally located hotel provides bed and breakfast, with 12 en suite rooms offering colour TV, some with DVD and CD players. The Crown Inn - The newly refurbished Crown Inn has 7 brand new en-suite bedrooms, a bar and restaurant with a'la carte menu. The Crown overlooks beautiful Chislehurst Common. If you enjoy walking, then Chislehurst is on one of the Green Chain routes from Mottingham Lane to Beckenham Park (4 1/2 miles). The Crown is very close to the well known Chislehurst Caves which extend for nearly 20 miles and date back over 4,000 years. The caves became more widely known after their use during the Second World War as an air raid shelter, not only for the locals but for over 10,000 Londoners who travelled to the caves each night by special train. It was so well organised that people could pay 1d per night for a bunk and there was also a cinema, church and hospital for them to use during their time underground. The caves are thought to be entirely man made and were created during three periods of time by our ancestors - well worth a visit. The Crown Inn has 7 guest rooms, all of which are non-smoking.

Beulah House - AA 4-star Beulah House is just 5 minutes' from the port and cruise liner terminal, 10 minutes from the Channel Tunnel. There are 2 conservatories overlooking the picturesque gardens. Beulah House has contemporary, spacious rooms with en suite facilities and a TV. Some rooms have charming period furniture or four-poster beds. An inclusive full English breakfast is served in the attractive dining room. Set in 1 acre of beautiful topiary gardens, this 19th-century guest house offers excellent bed and breakfast accommodation. The house is elegantly furnished, with many antiques, ornate marble fireplaces and stained glass windows. The White Cliffs, the town centre and Dover Castle are nearby.

The Portland Hotel - Opposite the Leas Cliff Hall, beside the sea and Folkestone town centre, The Portland Hotel has a popular bar and restaurant (dinner inclusive deals). Close to Eurotunnel and the Dover Ferry Terminal. The Skuba Bar, with its sun terrace and garden overlooking the sea, is perfect for socialising or a quiet drink, whilst savouring the sea views. The Skuba Grill offers its renowned menu in the bar throughout the day and in the restaurant during the evenings. Breakfast is continental-style with a wide variety of cereals, cheeses, yoghurts, croissants and fruit. Being a smaller hotel, there is no dedicated reception. Guests are asked to check-in at the bar, where staff will guide you to your room, taking note of any special requirements. Please note that children and pets are not usually accepted. There is no lift at The Portland Hotel and all rooms are non-smoking.

The White Horse Inn - Set in the heart of the Garden of England, and surrounded by orchards and hop gardens, this former coaching inn is a traditional pub with a contemporary twist. Mentioned in Chaucer's Canterbury Tales, the pub has a long tradition of warm and friendly hospitality. Today, you can enjoy the authentic atmosphere of a historic inn at the same time as relaxing in comfort and enjoying the excellent food, wines, beers and service. Midway between Faversham and Canterbury, there is a wealth of things to see and do in the area. Mount Ephraim Gardens, for example, are just a short walk away and Boughton Golf Club is nearby.

The Carlton Hotel - This sea-facing hotel is situated on The Leas, Folkestone's cliff-top promenade. It has motorway connections to Eurotunnel and the Dover ports. The Carlton Hotel is also close to Leas Cliff Hall and the town centre. The Victorian hotel has a car park with limited spaces.

Downsview - Downsview guest house is suitably located close to Ashford town centre and offers a cosy, comfortable and friendly service. Accommodation is comprised of 6 en suite rooms, where you can make yourself a tea or coffee before relaxing in the seating are in front of your own digital TV. Each room also has its own ironing/trouser press facility. Some rooms offer wonderful views of the North Downs. Continental breakfasts are served in Downsview's dining room, which overlooks the gardens.
