Alba House- Alba House is a beautiful, detached Victorian villa built around 1860 and set in large, landscaped gardens with many mature trees and ample seating areas. Private parking is available for all guests. Cairnryan House- Set directly across from the shore of Loch Ryan, and boasting uninterrupted views, this licensed guest house is 500 metres from Cairnryan ferry terminal and 5 minutes from Stranraer terminal. Originally the Manse, the family-run Cairnryan House was built in 1894 and still retains many of its original features. All of the en suite rooms are non-smoking and furnished to a high standard, with plenty of features to ensure your comfort. Most of the rooms have views over Loch Ryan. Guests can sit in the beer garden with a drink, whilst watching the ferries go by. There is off-road parking for 10 cars. Unfortunately, children under 13 years cannot stay at Cairnryan House.

Balmoral Hotel- This small country inn is situated in the centre of Moffat, a former spa town where national bard Robert Burns was one of the many visitors who came here to take the waters. For walking enthusiasts, Moffat lies at the midpoint of the Southern Upland Way and is an excellent base to explore this part of Scotland. Edinburgh, Glasgow, Galloway and the Lake District are all within easy reach. The inn is fully licensed and offers great food from 07:00 till 21:30 every day.

The Sands Hotel is just 4 miles from the Pentland Ferries terminal at St Margarets Hope.

Coila Guest House- Impressive Victorian villa, recently upgraded to provide large en-suite rooms with king-size beds. The guest house is close to the railway station, handy for the town center and Prestwick Airport. Built in 1870 Arden House is a lovely example of a Scottish Victorian Villa, which retains many period features.
