The Inverleith- Situated in one of Edinburgh's most desirable locations, opposite the Royal Botanic Gardens, this early-Victorian town house is also within easy reach of the city's renowned Princes Street. Ideal for both business and leisure breaks in Edinburgh, this small bed-and-breakfast hotel is set in the centre of the city, nestled amid fine terrace Georgian and Victorian houses, where Robert Louis Stevenson once lived. In the evenings you can sample the great selection of local restaurants, including: French, Italian, Spanish, Chinese, Indian and a bar/bistro serving modern European meals. Dungallan Country House- In a beautiful, peaceful location, overlooking Oban Bay, the Isles of Kerrera, Lismore, Mull and the sound of Kerrera, this beautiful Victorian building is now a 5-star guest house. Originally built as a summer residence by the Duke of Argyll in 1870, Dungallan Country House is situated on the edge of the town of Oban. The tranquil and secluded, yet commanding position means that the hotel offers superb views to 3 sides. Oban's promenade and the town's shops are just a 10-minute stroll away. All of the en suite rooms have been fully refurbished to a very high standard and most have magnificent sea views. Free wireless internet access is available throughout. There is a cosy and exclusive bar, offering cocktails and a choice of over 100 single malt whiskies. With a huge picture window, the bar overlooks Oban Bay. The Loch Leven Hotel- With a beautiful loch-side setting and dramatic views of the mountains, this family-run hotel offers free Wi-Fi and charming accommodation, great for a relaxing break or an activity holiday. In one of the most spectacular, naturally beautiful regions of Scotland, the Loch Leven Hotel is a traditional Scottish Highlands hotel near Glencoe, Ballachulish, Fort William and Ben Nevis. The hotel was originally established in the 17th century as a coaching inn and ferry terminal for the Ballachulish Ferry (when this was merely a small rowboat). Since taking over in December 1999, your hosts, Hilary and her partner John, have sympathetically modernised and completely refurbished the hotel. All of the comfortable and attractive en suite rooms are individually decorated. All rooms have TVs, telephones, tea/coffee making facilities and hairdryers. With spectacular views over the streams to the mountains beyond, the bar and restaurant offer home-cooked meals, made with superb local produce.
