Bloomfield House - Bloomfield House is a fine, friendly, family-run Georgian house with elegant rooms, fine art, antiques and splendid views across Bath from its quiet, elevated position. The town centre can be reached in a 15/20-minute walk. There is a regular bus route for the return uphill journey. Bloomfield House was built in the 1790s and was once the home of the Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress. It is a Grade II listed building and has good environmental credentials. Pets are welcome at Bloomfield House. Full English breakfasts are organic, Fair Trade and ingredients are provided by local suppliers. Each room is individually styled, with either a four-poster or half-tester bed.

The Wheelwrights Arms - This inn nestles in the peaceful village of Monkton Combe, surrounded by picturesque hills and valleys. Recently refurbished accommodation houses 7 luxury bedrooms with bathrooms or showers. There are 5 doubles, one twin and one single room. The pub offers an informal area to relax with a drink or dine. Menus are changed regularly and include bar snacks, light lunches and a la carte selections. Local ingredients are used where possible. You can relax with a drink by the open fire or in the garden. Our 2 buildings were originally constructed by William Harold, a carpenter, who built a house and workshop around 1750. In 1871, William Harold III converted the house into a public house and in 1981, the workshops were converted into bed and breakfast accommodation. The Haymaker Inn - The restaurant, bar and en suite accommodation at The Haymaker Inn are in a tranquil area of outstanding beauty, 2.5 miles (4 km) off the A303 /A30 Ilminster-to-Honiton road. The Haymaker has recently undergone an extensive refurbishment programme, and now offers refreshed and upgraded areas. Wholesome British food is prepared on the premises.
