Number 30 - This recently fully refurbished Victorian merchant house is a short stroll from the city centre. The city is famous for its splendid Georgian architecture, set within picturesque countryside. This is protected and offers excellent walks along the canal or around the hills on the Skyline Walk. This hotel also offers an ideal base from which to explore Wells, Stonehenge, Salisbury and the Cotswolds. Dorset Villa - Dorset Villa Guest House is comfortable, friendly b&b accommodation situated approximately 5 minutes from city centre. Arundel House - This privately owned Regency-period building is in Cheddar. There is friendly, helpful service and a licensed bar lounge where a fire burns during cold weather. Previously The Market Cross Hotel, Arundel House offers fresh 3-course evening meals (when requested 24 hours in advance). For those with allergies, please note that Arundel House has dog (Sweep) and a cat (Tanta). For those with no allergies, both are very friendly and happy to meet guests! Whilst at Arundel House you can easily visit the Cheddar Caves, Cheddar Gorge and the Mendip Hills.

Ilchester Arms - In the heart of Ilchester village, a relaxing oasis from the commotion of nearby Yeovil, this impressive Somerset inn was first licensed in 1686 and has aged with appropriate dignity. The Ilchester Arms has an airy wood decorated bar, with a good selection of wines, real ales and continental lagers. The hotel also has 7 well-appointed rooms and a renowned restaurant serving modern British food, using local fresh ingredients. A warm welcome awaits every guest.

The Helyar Arms - Set in the picturesque village of East Coker, this charming 15th century inn provides the ideal base from which to explore the Heritage South Coast, including Dorchester, Glastonbury and Bath. To reflect its rich heritage, the Helyar Arms aims to provide a rustic and relaxed atmosphere, with traditional entertainment in the form of a skittle alley, an inviting open log fire in the beamed bar and locally sourced home-cooked food, prepared to order. In the warmer months you can also enjoy a drink in the pleasant garden. The Helyar Arms also provides an adjoining bar, the Apple Loft, suitable for private parties. It can seat up to 40 people or 24 round one large table.
