Chimneys - Delightful 17th century detached house situated in the heart of the historical Norman village of Stansted Mountfitchet. Our guest accommodation is individually decorated and furnished to an exceptionally high standard. Just 10 minutes by car from Stansted Airport and a three minute walk from Stansted Mountfitchet railway station. The hotel is situated in the heart of this historical village with many properties dating back to the 16th century. There is a fine selection of restaurants all within a few minutes walk of Chimneys, including 4 pubs and 6 restaurants as well as 3 take-aways. Whether you are looking for a relaxing break in this beautiful part of England or simply needing to be near Stansted Airport, we are sure you will enjoy your stay. Unfortunately the hotel has no lift.

Stifford Clays Farmhouse Hotel - This beautifully converted farmhouse is set in landscaped gardens and is close to Dartford, Bluewater and Lakeside shopping centres. It has lovely countryside views and plenty of amenities. The B&B is convenient for the Dartford crossing and the M25. London Excel and City Airport can be reached in a 20-minute drive. Stifford Clays was built in the 18th century and has a mulberry tree that is hundreds of years old and is one of only 18 of its kind in the UK. Soldiers were accommodated here during the World Wars. Room are spread across the main building and an annexe. Most of the bedrooms have been newly refurbished and decorated to a high standard.

Taphall Bed And Breakfast - Just 2 miles (3.2 km) from London Stansted Airport terminal, Taphall is a charming 300-year-old detached cottage with a wealth of period features, including exposed timbers and large open fireplaces. The restaurant, bar area and functions rooms have all been refurbished and modernized but still provide a comforting homely atmosphere.

Atlantis Guest House - Atlantis Guest House offers a quiet and comfortable stay in the centre of Southend's peaceful conservation area, minutes from the High Street, the pier, seafront, restaurants and entertainment. The Victorian house was built in 1888 and is 3 minutes from Essex University. Atlantis has a high standard of hospitality and cleanliness, free Wi-Fi and private parking for guests. The guest house is an easy walk from Adventure Island Theme Park, and just 100 metres from Southend Central train and bus stations. Southend Victoria Station is a 10-minute walk, and there is easy access to London Southend Airport.

Avalon - Minutes from London Stansted Airport, Avalon offers comfortable accommodation, free Wi-Fi, competitive prices and transfers to the airport and Elsenham Rail Station. Avalon provides free transfers to the airport between 04:00 and 11:00. Transfers from the airport are available from 16:00 until 22:00 (additional cost). Transfers to and from Elsenham station are free. Located in the lovely village of Elsenham, Avalon is about 2 miles (3.2 km) due north of the airport. Avalon has some rooms with en suite bathrooms, but rooms without en suite bathrooms are also available. A laundry facility is on-site. A self-service continental-style breakfast is included. Takeaway breakfasts are available if you need to leave early.

Unfortunately, due to the age of the building, the Gleneagles hotel does not have a lift.
