Whether you are looking for a relaxing break in this beautiful part of England or simply needing to be near Stansted Airport, we are sure you will enjoy your stay. Unfortunately the hotel has no lift.

Avalon - Minutes from London Stansted Airport, Avalon offers comfortable accommodation, free Wi-Fi, competitive prices and transfers to the airport and Elsenham Rail Station. Avalon provides free transfers to the airport between 04:00 and 11:00. Transfers from the airport are available from 16:00 until 22:00 (additional cost). Transfers to and from Elsenham station are free. Located in the lovely village of Elsenham, Avalon is about 2 miles (3.2 km) due north of the airport. Avalon has some rooms with en suite bathrooms, but rooms without en suite bathrooms are also available. A laundry facility is on-site. A self-service continental-style breakfast is included. Takeaway breakfasts are available if you need to leave early.

Stansted Lodge Ltd. - Around 7 minutes from Stansted Airport, this accommodation offers quality rooms, competitive prices and transfers to/from the airport and Elsenham Rail Station. Stansted Lodge Ltd. offers transfers to the airport from 04:00 (free), and from the airport until 22:00 (additional cost). Elsenham Rail Station transfers are free. Located in the lovely village of Elsenham, Stansted Lodge is about one mile due north of the airport. Staff pride themselves on providing clean, secure and warm rooms, with an even warmer, friendly service. A laundry facility is available. The accommodation is walking distance from Elsenham train station which gives direct access to London Liverpool Street or Cambridge. Stansted Lodge is not located under a flight paths, so no planes fly overhead.

The Barn Annexe - Situated in private, secluded grounds spread across 2 acres, The Barn Annexe is just 10 minutes drive from Stansted Airport and 2 miles from Bishop Stortford Train Station. All rooms are comfortable and spacious, with an en suite and power shower. The accommodation is well equipped with modern facilities, including a fridge, TV and DVD player. Toiletries and towels are provided. The Barn Annexe has good access to London, Cambridge, Bishop's Stortford and Harlow. Free transfers can be arranged to Stansted airport during fixed hours. An excellent village pub is nearby, serving lunch and dinner and there is a golf course a short drive away from the annexe.

Breakfast is included in the price and Taphall provides a variety of breakfast options, which are determined by your departure time.

Bonningtons Bed and Breakfast - This Grade 2 Listed building is set amid landscaped gardens, and is just 3 miles (4.8 km) from London Stansted Airport. Next to a country inn serving lunchtime and evening meals, this accommodation is convenient, comfortable and cosy. Free drink at local pub when ordering any main course meal. All rooms are located in our listed, converted barn, and are fully en suite; each room also has its own private entrance. Free station/airport transfers are available from 07:00 until 11:00, and from 16:00 until 21:00. Long-term parking is also available. Continental breakfast is available at any time in our self service breakfast area. This is especially convenient for those guests that have early morning flights. A late check-in (after 23:00) can be offered (by prior arrangement).

The Gleneagles Hotel - Overlooking the beautiful cliff gardens and with panoramic sea views, the Gleneagles offers 4-star guest accommodation within Southend's tranquil conservation area. Gleneagles is a Grade II listed building, which has now been completely refurbished, restoring it to its former glory. The location is perfect for both business and holiday travellers, with the town, transport links, theatres, quality restaurants and the pier/sea front all just a few minutes' walk away. The hotel's coffee house and residents' bar is a comfortable place to enjoy the view and relax with the papers. A full range of coffee and tea is served with cakes, light savoury lunches or snacks. Unfortunately, due to the age of the building, the Gleneagles hotel does not have a lift.

Homesdale - With heated pool and secluded garden, this friendly, modern and well-run B&B is on a bus route to Stansted Airport, Bishop's Stortford town centre and the railway station. Homesdale is ideal for guests wishing to make day trips to either London (south) or Cambridge (north). Both cities are 35 minutes by fast train from Bishop's Stortford.
