Our guest accommodation is individually decorated and furnished to an exceptionally high standard. Just 10 minutes by car from Stansted Airport and a three minute walk from Stansted Mountfitchet railway station. The hotel is situated in the heart of this historical village with many properties dating back to the 16th century. There is a fine selection of restaurants all within a few minutes walk of Chimneys, including 4 pubs and 6 restaurants as well as 3 take-aways. Whether you are looking for a relaxing break in this beautiful part of England or simply needing to be near Stansted Airport, we are sure you will enjoy your stay. Unfortunately the hotel has no lift.

Le Vere House is well placed for visiting Colchester, with its castle, museums and zoo. The house is 30 minutes' drive from beautiful 'Constable Country'.

The Gleneagles Hotel - Overlooking the beautiful cliff gardens and with panoramic sea views, the Gleneagles offers 4-star guest accommodation within Southend's tranquil conservation area. Gleneagles is a Grade II listed building, which has now been completely refurbished, restoring it to its former glory. The location is perfect for both business and holiday travellers, with the town, transport links, theatres, quality restaurants and the pier/sea front all just a few minutes' walk away. The hotel's coffee house and residents' bar is a comfortable place to enjoy the view and relax with the papers. A full range of coffee and tea is served with cakes, light savoury lunches or snacks. Unfortunately, due to the age of the building, the Gleneagles hotel does not have a lift.

Greenways Lodge, Stansted Airport. - Set in a forest village nature reserve, Greenways Lodge offers good value accommodation, just 4.8 km from Stansted Airport. Greenways Lodge provide a free morning transfer to Stansted Airport. There are many beautiful forest and lake walks in the National Trust nature reserve area of Hatfield Forest Country Park, bordering Stansted Airport. All rooms are comfortably furnished, with en suite facilities and a TV. There is Wi-Fi access in all rooms. A lobby computer and printer are also available. The Lodge is close to a great country pub, serving evening meals and snacks. Free land-line phone calls are also offered to most countries, including the EU nations, USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. London is just 45 minutes away by express train and Cambridge is a 20-minute train journey away.

Bull Hotel - Originally built in 1398, the Bull is best described as a high street pub with bedrooms; offering warmth, character and individuality, the lively pub is the social centre of this Essex town. Halstead is a quaint, but often busy, north Essex town, particularly at weekends. Situated in the heart of the town, at the bottom of the High Street, the building has been a coaching inn for over 500 years. The Bull boasts a warm comfortable ambience, relaxed dining, an extensive menu and an inviting bar with a fantastic range of beers, wines and spirits. A hearty full English breakfast is served every morning. With a vibrant and lively atmosphere, the pub offers regular live music nights and karaoke at the weekends until late into the evenings. All major sporting events are shown on the big-screen plasma TVs in the bars. Please note that bedrooms are affected by noise from the bars at weekends.

South Lodge Hotel - The South Lodge Hotel is an attractive Victorian town house and has recently been carefully refurbished and modernized whilst retaining a warm, homely atmosphere. The hotel is a short walk from Chelmsford town center and the county cricket ground and is conveniently located near the A12 and M25 motorway. South Bar & Restaurant is an a la carte restaurant that offers contemporary French inspired cuisine in a relaxing environment. The restaurant, bar area and functions rooms have all been refurbished and modernized but still provide a comforting homely atmosphere.

Homelye Farm - Homelye Farm is 15 minutes from Stansted Airport, Leez Priory and Maidens Barn. All the cosy guest rooms are on the ground floor, in converted farm stables. Homelye Farm is built around 2 courtyards and vehicles can be safely parked outside your room. It provides a peaceful, comfortable stay in a relaxed, friendly and safe atmosphere. The individually styled rooms have spacious en suite facilities, digital LCD TVs. The rural accommodation is also well-located for the M11 and Braintree.

Homesdale - With heated pool and secluded garden, this friendly, modern and well-run B&B is on a bus route to Stansted Airport, Bishop's Stortford town centre and the railway station. Homesdale is ideal for guests wishing to make day trips to either London (south) or Cambridge (north). Both cities are 35 minutes by fast train from Bishop's Stortford. All rooms are en suite, non smoking and have free Wi-Fi, Sky TV and tea/coffee. Continental breakfast is included; full English breakfast and evening meals are available on request. The village has a fine pub, restaurant and post office, all within walking distance. Late check-in and safe off-road parking available.

The Yew Tree Inn - This charming inn originally dates back to 1457 and is situated in the heart of the village of Manuden, approximately 3 miles from Stansted Airport. The inn has 14 individually decorated and appointed rooms, each with their own character and charm. There are 11 en suite rooms, 3 of which are situated in the inn itself, 4 run alongside the building and 4 that are housed in their own block within the grounds. There is a large and welcoming bar, full of attractive period features, as well as a restaurant with an award-winning chef. The chef and his team will cater for all your dining requirements and the restaurant offers everything from light lunches to ? la carte evening meals. There is ample on-site parking, with airport parking available at an additional cost, and the inn also offers a transfer service to and from the airport.

Bonningtons Bed and Breakfast - This Grade 2 Listed building is set amid landscaped gardens, and is just 3 miles (4.8 km) from London Stansted Airport. Next to a country inn serving lunchtime and evening meals, this accommodation is convenient, comfortable and cosy. Free drink at local pub when ordering any main course meal. All rooms are located in our listed, converted barn, and are fully en suite; each room also has its own private entrance. Free station/airport transfers are available from 07:00 until 11:00, and from 16:00 until 21:00. Long-term parking is also available. Continental breakfast is available at any time in our self service breakfast area. This is especially convenient for those guests that have early morning flights. A late check-in (after 23:00) can be offered (by prior arrangement).
