Gleneagles is a Grade II listed building, which has now been completely refurbished, restoring it to its former glory. Located in the lovely village of Elsenham, Stansted Lodge is about one mile due north of the airport. Stifford Clays Farmhouse Hotel - This beautifully converted farmhouse is set in landscaped gardens and is close to Dartford, Bluewater and Lakeside shopping centres. It has lovely countryside views and plenty of amenities. The B&B is convenient for the Dartford crossing and the M25. London Excel and City Airport can be reached in a 20-minute drive. Stifford Clays was built in the 18th century and has a mulberry tree that is hundreds of years old and is one of only 18 of its kind in the UK. Soldiers were accommodated here during the World Wars. Room are spread across the main building and an annexe. Most of the bedrooms have been newly refurbished and decorated to a high standard.

Greenways Lodge, Stansted Airport. - Set in a forest village nature reserve, Greenways Lodge offers good value accommodation, just 4.8 km from Stansted Airport.
