Just 10 minutes by car from Stansted Airport and a three minute walk from Stansted Mountfitchet railway station. The hotel is situated in the heart of this historical village with many properties dating back to the 16th century. There is a fine selection of restaurants all within a few minutes walk of Chimneys, including 4 pubs and 6 restaurants as well as 3 take-aways. Whether you are looking for a relaxing break in this beautiful part of England or simply needing to be near Stansted Airport, we are sure you will enjoy your stay. Unfortunately the hotel has no lift.

Stifford Clays Farmhouse Hotel - This beautifully converted farmhouse is set in landscaped gardens and is close to Dartford, Bluewater and Lakeside shopping centres. It has lovely countryside views and plenty of amenities. The B&B is convenient for the Dartford crossing and the M25. London Excel and City Airport can be reached in a 20-minute drive. Stifford Clays was built in the 18th century and has a mulberry tree that is hundreds of years old and is one of only 18 of its kind in the UK. Soldiers were accommodated here during the World Wars. Room are spread across the main building and an annexe. Most of the bedrooms have been newly refurbished and decorated to a high standard.

Le Vere House - A warm and friendly welcome awaits at Le Vere House, situated a short walk from the seafront, shops, restaurants, pier and beautiful gardens. Le Vere House is well placed for visiting Colchester, with its castle, museums and zoo. The house is 30 minutes' drive from beautiful 'Constable Country'.

Taphall Bed And Breakfast - Just 2 miles (3.2 km) from London Stansted Airport terminal, Taphall is a charming 300-year-old detached cottage with a wealth of period features, including exposed timbers and large open fireplaces. Taphall Bed and Breakfast has a peaceful and yet convenient location. The building is just a 5-minute drive from the airport, but is not on the flight path. The house is situated opposite the tranquil natural beauty of Hatfield Forest, which is owned by the National Trust. The market towns of Great Dunmow and Bishop's Stortford are just 4 miles (6.5 km) away. Both London and Cambridge are only 30 minutes by train from the airports railway station. Free transfers to the airport are available from 06:00. On-site parking is available for guests and long-term holiday parking is available by prior arrangement. Breakfast is included in the price and Taphall provides a variety of breakfast options, which are determined by your departure time.

The Gleneagles Hotel - Overlooking the beautiful cliff gardens and with panoramic sea views, the Gleneagles offers 4-star guest accommodation within Southend's tranquil conservation area. Gleneagles is a Grade II listed building, which has now been completely refurbished, restoring it to its former glory. The location is perfect for both business and holiday travellers, with the town, transport links, theatres, quality restaurants and the pier/sea front all just a few minutes' walk away. The hotel's coffee house and residents' bar is a comfortable place to enjoy the view and relax with the papers. A full range of coffee and tea is served with cakes, light savoury lunches or snacks. Unfortunately, due to the age of the building, the Gleneagles hotel does not have a lift.

The Victorian house was built in 1888 and is 3 minutes from Essex University. Atlantis has a high standard of hospitality and cleanliness, free Wi-Fi and private parking for guests. The guest house is an easy walk from Adventure Island Theme Park, and just 100 metres from Southend Central train and bus stations. Southend Victoria Station is a 10-minute walk, and there is easy access to London Southend Airport.

South Lodge Hotel - The South Lodge Hotel is an attractive Victorian town house and has recently been carefully refurbished and modernized whilst retaining a warm, homely atmosphere. The hotel is a short walk from Chelmsford town center and the county cricket ground and is conveniently located near the A12 and M25 motorway. South Bar & Restaurant is an a la carte restaurant that offers contemporary French inspired cuisine in a relaxing environment. The restaurant, bar area and functions rooms have all been refurbished and modernized but still provide a comforting homely atmosphere.

Bull Hotel - Originally built in 1398, the Bull is best described as a high street pub with bedrooms; offering warmth, character and individuality, the lively pub is the social centre of this Essex town. Halstead is a quaint, but often busy, north Essex town, particularly at weekends. Situated in the heart of the town, at the bottom of the High Street, the building has been a coaching inn for over 500 years. The Bull boasts a warm comfortable ambience, relaxed dining, an extensive menu and an inviting bar with a fantastic range of beers, wines and spirits. A hearty full English breakfast is served every morning. With a vibrant and lively atmosphere, the pub offers regular live music nights and karaoke at the weekends until late into the evenings. All major sporting events are shown on the big-screen plasma TVs in the bars. Please note that bedrooms are affected by noise from the bars at weekends.

Stansted Airport Lodge - This modern and comfortable lodge is less than 5 minutes from the Stansted Airport terminal and offers 'park and fly' deals. Stansted Airport Lodge offers Wi-Fi access is in its public areas. Transfers from the airport (additional cost) are available from the short-stay orange car park. Transfers from the lodge to the airport run every 30 minutes from 03:30.

The Lion Inn - An independent hotel with a continental feel, the Lion Inn has a stylish bar, an elegant bistro-style restaurant and spacious air-conditioned rooms flat-screen TVs and free wired internet.
