Old Well Inn- This 17th-century inn is in the town of Barnard Castle, with a traditional cosy bar, 3 restaurants and charming en suite rooms that are surprisingly spacious. The Old Well serves great food at realistic prices. Food is available all day in the lounge and bar, where there is also a good selection of local real ales. The Manor- Centrally located in the Moorlands and under 5 miles from Alton Towers, this beautiful 250 year old house with a landscaped walled garden was originally built as a rectory. The Beech tree restaurant and garden bar are open for dinner each day, except Sundays when the house closes at 16:00 and latest check in is 20:00. From June 1st, dependant upon weather and demand, dinner will be served outside, barbecue style. Personally managed by the owners, in a relaxed informal style, where the emphasis is on quality of food and personal service, the Manor is a haven of peace where it is easy to unwind.

Stanley House- Stanley House is a Lake District B&B with en suite bedrooms with stunning views of the fells, gardens and rivers. Horley Rail Station is only a 5-minute walk away, with regular trains to London Victoria. The Crown Inn- With parts dating back to the 13th century, this 16th century inn is now a small country pub offering free Wi-Fi, 2 bars, a separate restaurant and comfortable en suite accommodation. In the heart of the small, charming village of Gayton, the Crown Inn offers 4 comfortable and homely rooms, furnished in a traditional cottage style. Each room has an en suite shower or bathroom. Beachbrow Hotel- Built in 1700 and overlooking the pier, this family-run hotel is close to the town centre, the bus and train stations, golf, fishing, and is 8 miles from Dover ferry port. Ken or Lynn will welcome you into their cosy, period hotel with helpful, friendly staff willing to help. Single, double, triple and family rooms are available, some of which are en suite. Lord Nelson's flag officers stayed here in the late 1700s. The lounge Bar and some of the rooms have wonderful sea views.

Grove House Hotel- A beautiful building with a restaurant, bar and lounge, the welcoming and family-run Grove House is a 5-minute walk from Wellington's pubs, shops and rail station.
