Westbury House - This 3-star rated, Lakeland-stone, Victorian house is set in a quiet side street, approximately 5 minutes' walk from the train/bus station. Jo and Alan offer quality accommodation and excellent value for money. They are very happy to advise you on any walks and have maps to assist you. They can also book you on to tours and make dinner reservations for you at one of the many excellent restaurants in the surrounding area, or beyond. The house is situated opposite Ellerthwaite Park and is a gentle 20-minute walk from Lake Windermere itself.

Lingmoor Guest Accommodation - This charming traditional Lakeland house offers comfortable accommodation in a great location, in the centre of the village of Windermere, in the heart of the beautiful Lake District. The superb location makes Lingmoor Guest Accommodation a great base from which to explore the stunning natural beauty and breathtaking scenery of the Lake District, which so inspired Wordsworth, Wainwright and Beatrix Potter. Windermere's train and coach station is just a 3-minute walk away and all of the town's pubs and restaurants are within easy walking distance. This family-run house was built in 1854, by and for the local railway, which arrived in Windermere at that time. Today, the house still retains its beautiful original exterior, its slate roof and several other lovely period features. There are 5 comfortable, modern en suite rooms with showers, each of which is well-equipped with a colour television and tea/coffee making facilities.

The Old Courthouse - In the heart of Bowness-on-Windermere, the Old Courthouse was originally built in 1843 and is one of the oldest and most charming buildings in the village. In the centre of this lovely Lakeland village, The Old Courthouse is only a 5-minute stroll from Bowness Bay on the shores of Lake Windermere. Close to all of the villages restaurants, bars, shops and the cinema, the Old Court House is a wonderful base from which to explore the spectacular natural beauty of the Lake District National Park. Each tastefully decorated room is bright, fresh and clean, with a full en suite shower room. All rooms have TVs, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryers and radio alarms. Free wireless broadband internet access is available in most rooms. Private parking is available for guests and there is a full English breakfast with a choice of fruit and cereals to start your day. Vegetarians and those with special dietary needs can be accommodated.

The Willowsmere - This guest house was built in the mid-19th century using Lakeland stone. With award-winning gardens, The Willowsmere is a grand Victorian residence ideally located for a visit to the Lake District. Martin and Sue welcome you to their friendly and cosy home. In recent years, The Willowsmere has been tastefully restored and renovated to include luxuries you might not expect in a guest house. There are en suite bedrooms, 2 guest lounges and a hidden garden where you can enjoy a drink from the well-stocked cellar. All guests have free use of nearby leisure facilities (5 minutes' walk). The Willowsmere has a large off-road car park and is 8 minutes' walk from Windermere centre and train station and 10 minutes' walk from Lake Windermere. The Willowsmere generally operates a 2 or 3-night minimum-stay policy.

Stanley House - Stanley House is a Lake District B&B with en suite bedrooms with stunning views of the fells, gardens and rivers. Located in Eskdale, the B&B is ideal for walkers and is a few miles from Wastwater, England's deepest lake. The Ravenglass & Eskdale railway stops at Beckfoot, the local station. Each comfortable room comes with a TV, DVD player with DVD library, and free Wi-Fi. There are 2 ground-floor sitting rooms, one with a wood stove and sofas to laze on, the other with a TV and PlayStation for the children. Breakfast is served in the dining room overlooking the gardens and 2 rivers.

We have 25 en suite bedrooms, 4 standard rooms and a selection of individually designed executive suites giving a maximum occupancy of 50 guests. All bedrooms contain the usual modern amenities with tea/coffee making facilities, colour tv, hair dryer, direct dial telephones, broadband internet access, luxury toiletries, tourist information, notepads etc. a separate ironing room is available, however executive suites include an ironing station, fresh flowers and complimentary welcome pack (wine, fresh fruit, still water and chocolates). Unfortunately the hotel does not have a lift.
