Low House is located within a mile of Windermere and a few hundred metres from Windermere Golf Club. All the facilities of Windermere are 25 minutes' walk away. The house is filled with antiques, books and paintings, as well as modern, useful facilities. The bedrooms have king-size beds and Molton Brown toiletries.

Invergarry Guest House - In the heart of the beautiful Lake District, between Windermere and Bowness, this traditional Lakeland guest house offers a warm welcome, comfortable accommodation and a hearty breakfast. The Invergarry is open all year round, with special rates over the autumn and winter periods. There are local walks from the front door and Windermere golf course is just a short drive away.

The Derby Arms - Perfectly situated in the Lake District National Park, The Derby Arms is a traditional country pub offering comfortable rooms, providing an ideal base from which to explore the South Lakes. All individually designed rooms have en suite facilities and a plasma-screen TV. Some rooms boast a luxurious and elegant roll top bath and some have attractive views. An inclusive continental breakfast is provided. The Derby Arms serves good food and drink in a welcoming environment, with cosy log fires and period furniture. There is an on-site village shop, along with a games room with pool table and dart board. Free parking and free Wi-Fi internet access are available to guests.

The Willowsmere - This guest house was built in the mid-19th century using Lakeland stone. With award-winning gardens, The Willowsmere is a grand Victorian residence ideally located for a visit to the Lake District. Martin and Sue welcome you to their friendly and cosy home. In recent years, The Willowsmere has been tastefully restored and renovated to include luxuries you might not expect in a guest house. There are en suite bedrooms, 2 guest lounges and a hidden garden where you can enjoy a drink from the well-stocked cellar. All guests have free use of nearby leisure facilities (5 minutes' walk). The Willowsmere has a large off-road car park and is 8 minutes' walk from Windermere centre and train station and 10 minutes' walk from Lake Windermere. The Willowsmere generally operates a 2 or 3-night minimum-stay policy.

Waverley Hotel - The Waverley Hotel, Workington, offers quality, exceptional value accommodation with a wide variety of room styles. We have 25 en suite bedrooms, 4 standard rooms and a selection of individually designed executive suites giving a maximum occupancy of 50 guests. All bedrooms contain the usual modern amenities with tea/coffee making facilities, colour tv, hair dryer, direct dial telephones, broadband internet access, luxury toiletries, tourist information, notepads etc. a separate ironing room is available, however executive suites include an ironing station, fresh flowers and complimentary welcome pack (wine, fresh fruit, still water and chocolates). Unfortunately the hotel does not have a lift.

Brantfell House - Just a short stroll from Ambleside's village centre, this beautiful Victorian house has excellent breakfasts and 6 boutique-style rooms, many with views of the fells.
