Wheyrigg Hall Hotel - A splendid 3 diamond hotel on the Solway Plain close to the lakes, hills and Carlisle. Also close to the Scottish borders, Gretna Green and the Roman wall, river and badlands. Wheyrigg Hall is a family run hotel bar and restaurant set in a rural location. Originally an old farmhouse, the hotel has been converted to provide comfortable accommodation. There is ample car parking and there are two separate function rooms providing seating for fifty and one hundred people so the Wheyrigg Hall is an ideal venue for conferences, weddings or other family celebrations. There is also a spacious dining room, lounge and bar with a homely cottage atmosphere. Hazeldene Guest House - We are situated in the heart of Bowness-on-Windermere and offer good quality, non-smoking accommodation suitable for a variety of guests. With stunning views of the surrounding hills, and numerous shops and inns on the doorstep, Keswick Lodge is located in the heart of the vibrant market town of Keswick, which is on the north lakeside of Derwentwater. This 18th-century former coaching inn has been refurbished in a modern style, but with the traditional original character carefully preserved. The lodge offers comfortable en suite accommodation and each room has an LCD flat-screen TV and tea/coffee making facilities. The well-stocked bar offers a selection of wines, spirits, lagers and real ales from Thwaites Brewery. The menu features freshly prepared dishes, made with local produce and seasonal ingredients from Cumbria and the surrounding region. Ivy House Hotel - In the pretty village of Hawkshead, surrounded by the breathtaking scenery of the English Lake District, this beautifully preserved Georgian house is rich in traditional charm and original character. In the heart of the village, the Ivy House is an impressive, Grade II listed Georgian building offering comfortable accommodation, great food and a good selection of wines. Newstead House BandB - On the south-west edge of the Lake District, this small and beautiful B&B has 2 lovely rooms with excellent views. Stunning coastal scenery and peaceful Silecroft Beach are nearby. There many activities in the local area, including golf, watersports, horse riding and Muncaster Castle. Guests can share a lounge which has a TV, DVD player, Wii, games, books and a log fire on winter evenings. At Newstead House you can enjoy a breakfast with homemade jams; afternoon tea; and evening meals featuring fresh local produce.

Victoria Inn - The Victoria Inn is a traditional town centre hostelry.
