Stanley House - Stanley House is a Lake District B&B with en suite bedrooms with stunning views of the fells, gardens and rivers. Located in Eskdale, the B&B is ideal for walkers and is a few miles from Wastwater, England's deepest lake. The Ravenglass & Eskdale railway stops at Beckfoot, the local station. Each comfortable room comes with a TV, DVD player with DVD library, and free Wi-Fi. There are 2 ground-floor sitting rooms, one with a wood stove and sofas to laze on, the other with a TV and PlayStation for the children. Breakfast is served in the dining room overlooking the gardens and 2 rivers.

Blue Pig - In the beautiful market town of Kirkby Lonsdale, this newly renovated 17th-century cottage offers comfortable, bright accommodation in 3 lovely en suite rooms. The cosy lounge with log-burning stove can be made available. A cooked English breakfast is included in the room rate. There are 3 car parking spaces for guests (150 yards/140 metres from Blue Pig). The cottage is conveniently located just off the A65, only a few miles from the M6 motorway. The peaceful, convenient location makes the Blue Pig ideal for exploring the town and countryside.

Ellerbrook House - Ellerbrook House is small, family-run guest house in a quiet leafy street just a few minutes' walk from shops, cafes and restaurants, and a 15-minute walk from Lake Windermere. The staff pride themselves on high standards and quality, and provide a friendly, welcoming and comfortable environment for exploring the Lake District.
