Today, the house's great location makes it a wonderful base from which to explore the stunning natural beauty and breathtaking scenery of the Lake District, which so inspired Wordsworth, Wainwright and Beatrix Potter. Windermere train and coach station is just a 3-minute walk away and all of the town's pubs and restaurants are also nearby. The house still retains its beautiful original exterior, slate roof and several other lovely period features. There are 3 comfortable, modern en suite rooms with showers, and one room with private facilities.
