Avalon House Licensed Guest House- Avalon House offers standard en suite accommodation, free Wi-Fi, free parking and a good location, just one mile (1.6 km) from St Albans Railway Station. On the main London Road, Avalon House is near the centre of St Albans and well-connected to London Colney. It also offers good access to the M25, M1, A1 and the M10 to Hemel Hempstead. The Harbour Lights- This guest house and restaurant offers affordable accommodation very close to the small sandy beach in the heart of Ilfracombe's Heritage Harbour, on the South West Coast Path. The Harbour Lights dates from 1895 and was purpose built as a small hotel at the height of Ilfracombe's Victorian heyday. Many of the original features remain, such as the central staircase with its antique mahogany banister and the sash windows. The guest house has a 60-seater, licensed restaurant on the ground floor. It specialises in Appledore fish and seafood, Exmoor lamb and beef and Ilfracombe lobster.

The Old Railway Station- Formerly Petworth Railway Station, built in 1894 - now the perfect place to relax in colonial splendour. The guest rooms are all double, en-suite. There are 2 rooms in the Station House, the remaining guest rooms are in our fully restored Edwardian Pullman railway carriages. The magnificent guest lounge was formerly the waiting room and has a 20 foot vaulted ceiling. It leads out onto the platform which is a popular summer venue for breakfast. The dining area backs onto the station master's and ticket office, now the station kitchen, and features the original ticket windows. In winter, breakfast is served, accompanied by a roaring log fire, in the booking hall.

Breakfasts are freshly cooked to order, using fresh local farm produce. The Inglewood is 5 minutes' walk from the centre of Chorley. It is 1 mile (1.6 km) from junction 22 of the M6 and junction 8 of the M61. Chorley is a great base from which to visit Manchester, Southport, Blackpool, Preston, Bolton or the Lake District.

Gainsborough Lodge- Gainsborough Lodge is conveniently situated only five minutes from Gatwick Airport. An extended Edwardian House with 16 rooms and bungalow annex of 14 rooms. Family run set in half-acre garden. Long term car park available on the premises per day. We have a free phone courtesy pick up point at the airport, available from 9:00am - 11:00pm, which runs every 30 minutes on the hour & half hour when requested. A taxi is GBP 5.00 outside of these hours. Horley Town Centre is a five minute walk away and offers Indian, Italian, Spanish & Chinese food, pizza, fish & chips and four pubs. Evening meals are not provided, but guests are invited to use our Conservatory dining room for take-aways. Unfortunately, the guest house does not have a lift.

Some of the rooms also have breathtaking sea views. The well-stocked bar has a wide-screen LCD TV and guests can also enjoy drinks on the leather sofas in the comfortable lounge or outside on the terrace, which overlooks the beach and sea.

Laurel Cottage- Peacefully situated in Windermere, overlooking Queens Park, this guest house is a short stroll from the amenities in the village and about 20 minutes' walk from the Lake and Bowness. Laurel Cottage is convenient for Windermere rail and bus station and is an ideal base from which to explore the Lake District. The guest house is set within a small Victorian house built of local stone in the 1890s. It has been modernised to offer up-to-date comforts, but has retained its original character. Laurel Cottage is run by the owners Alison and Wayne, who offer a warm and friendly welcome.
