The Log House- In the heart of the English Lake District, this historic Norwegian log cabin is now a restaurant and bar with 3 comfortable en suite rooms, all with LCD flat-screen TVs, DVD players and free Wi-Fi. There are 3 double rooms above the restaurant. Two still have the original log beams and the third has stunning views over the fells. Each has an en suite shower room, hairdryer, tea/coffee, and luxurious bathroom products from the White Company. In the town of Ambleside, at the head of Windermere, the Log House was originally brought to the Lake District by local artist Alfred Heaton Cooper nearly 100 years ago. Cooper used the cabin as a home and studio, but today it is a 4-star restaurant with rooms.

Eurobar Cafe and Hotel - BandB- Set in Oxford's historic city centre, next to the bus station and 5-minutes' walk from the train station, this small hotel is ideally located close to University colleges, theatres and shops. A unique mix of traditional English and modern European styles, the caf?-bar is open from 09:00 - 23:00 Monday-Thursday; 09:00 - 24:00 Friday and Saturday; and 12:00 - 22:30 on Sunday for bar snacks, tea, coffee, traditional ales and lagers. For many years, the Lion Inn was a traditional pub. Now, after a stylish yet sympathetic refurbishment, it has been transformed into a contemporary bistro and bar with luxurious en suite rooms. Some of the rooms have balconies overlooking the garden, while others have direct access to the garden via their very own terrace. Glenalmond Guest House- Run by retired Police Officer, Glenalmond Guest House is a beautiful 100 year old 'turn of the century' house which maintains many of its Edwardian features, such as the ornate pitched pine staircase. The current owners, Frank and Marion Austin have owned the house since 2001. Situated near the small town of Horley, Glenalmond provides overnight accommodation near Gatwick Airport, close to local shops, restaurants, pubs, and mainline stations.

Toomer Farm- Part of a 500 acre working farm, this charming guesthouse is set within an Elizabethan manor house on the Somerset/Dorset border, just 5 miles from Sherborne. Nestled amid a walled garden with ancient carp ponds and a dove cote, Toomer Farm is surrounded by limestone hills known as the Caundells on the edge of Thomas Hardy Country.
