St George's- St George's is a family-run bed and breakfast with 10 individually decorated en suite bedrooms. This Victorian house is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac across from York's racecourse. It is a 10 minute walk to the city walls but less to the start of York's many wonderful eating places. From here to get to the city center you can either walk round on the walls at Micklegate Bar towards the spectacular ancient Minster or under them where the shops start. Both ways take around a further 10 minutes, so it is 20 minutes walking from us to the middle of town. Our emphasis is on friendliness and cleanliness. We offer full English breakfast in the dining room or relax and take advantage of our breakfast in bed at no extra charge. Andover House- Andover House is a restaurant with rooms, exclusively for adults. It stands on a beautiful tree-lined avenue, a moment's walk from the beach and the tourist centre of Great Yarmouth.
