Dairy Guest House- The Dairy is a lovingly restored and upgraded Victorian town house, keeping its 19th-century character and original features. In central York, Dairy Guest House is less than 300 metres (300 yards) south of the medieval city walls. It is an easy stroll from York's many attractions and museums. The hotel is located just off the A28 between Ashford and Canterbury in an ideal location to explore the surrounding countryside. The pub has a good restaurant serving excellent food, using mainly local produce when available. The attractive patio and large garden are popular for summer drinks. Canterbury with its historic past and many attractions is only a short drive away, as is Leeds Castle, said to be the loveliest castle in the world.
