Stanley House- Stanley House is a Lake District B&B with en suite bedrooms with stunning views of the fells, gardens and rivers. Located in Eskdale, the B&B is ideal for walkers and is a few miles from Wastwater, England's deepest lake. The Ravenglass & Eskdale railway stops at Beckfoot, the local station. Each comfortable room comes with a TV, DVD player with DVD library, and free Wi-Fi. There are 2 ground-floor sitting rooms, one with a wood stove and sofas to laze on, the other with a TV and PlayStation for the children. Breakfast is served in the dining room overlooking the gardens and 2 rivers.

Fingle Glen Golf Hotel- With its own beautifully kept 18-hole golf course, Fingle Glen Golf Hotel is located just off the A30, approximately 5 miles (8 km) from Exeter. Surrounded by the peace and tranquillity of the lush, green golf course, the hotel is wonderful for a relaxing break or as a restful base from which to explore the area. The hotel also makes a great stopover for the discerning business traveller looking for quiet, relaxing accommodation close to Exeter. Fingle Glen boasts a challenging 18-hole course and a floodlit driving range. There are 9 en suite double rooms and one suite available within the main complex and a further 12 log cabins overlooking the golf course's 18th green. The rooms are all situated on the first floor of the 24-hour manned club house. All of the rooms have been recently refurbished to a high standard, with all the modern comforts and facilities you need. The log cabins have 2 en suite bedrooms, a fully fitted kitchen, a dining area, and a decked area outside. The cabins sleep up to 4 people and are available for short or long-term bookings.

Gatwick Belmont- This independent, family-run establishment is set in the quiet, leafy residential town of Horley, just 5 minutes from Gatwick Airport. The Gatwick Belmont is close to Gatwick Airport, but not on the flight path. This makes it convenient airport guest house accommodation, without the noise and bustle. Horley Rail Station is only a 5-minute walk away, with regular trains to London Victoria. Many guests return to enjoy competitive rates, cleanliness, and a minibus service between Gatwick and the hotel (Gatwick to hotel: 09:00 to 21:00; hotel to Gatwick: 24 hours). This service is free until 01 November 2009. Reception a the Gatwick Belmont is open 24 hours a day for check-in, so there will always be someone to greet you.

Downs Edge is a quiet building, set far back from the nearest road. The gardens open out onto Bristol Downs (a huge open park) at the front, and onto the Botanic Gardens at the back. Most rooms have views of either space. The traditional dining room has fine furniture, silver items and paintings. Bristol city centre is within 2 miles (3.2 km) and many local attractions are close to Downs Edge.

The Shellbrooke- Fully renovated in July 2007, this 4-star guest house offers free private parking and boutique accommodation, in a lovely location, in the heart of Hunstanton, just 2 minutes from the beach. Small and friendly, the Shellbrooke is conveniently situated only a 2-minute walk from the town centre, the bus station and all of the local attractions. There is plenty of free off-road car parking. The Shellbrooke underwent a total refurbishment and renovation in July 2007. The result is an absolutely beautiful luxury building, full of character. All of the rooms are tastefully furnished, with private bathrooms and modern furniture. Each room has a TV, DVD player, clock radio and tea/coffee making facilities. Some of the rooms also have breathtaking sea views. The well-stocked bar has a wide-screen LCD TV and guests can also enjoy drinks on the leather sofas in the comfortable lounge or outside on the terrace, which overlooks the beach and sea.
