The Shoe Inn- This 15th century coaching inn, situated just on the edge of the New Forest on the A36, has been welcoming hungry travellers ever since 1430 and is steeped in history. Leicester is a vibrant city, with excellent entertainment, sporting, shopping and educational attractions including De Montfort Hall and the Y Theatre. The hotel is 5 minutes from the railway station, Leicester and De Montford universities. Leicester Cricket Club, rugby and football venues are 10-20 minutes' walk away. After booking, you must contact the hotel directly to inform them of your time of arrival, as the reception is not manned at all times.

Ockley is 15 miles (24 km) from Gatwick and 8 miles (13 km) from Dorking. The Harbour Lights- This guest house and restaurant offers affordable accommodation very close to the small sandy beach in the heart of Ilfracombe's Heritage Harbour, on the South West Coast Path.
