Arundel House- This privately owned Regency-period building is in Cheddar. There is friendly, helpful service and a licensed bar lounge where a fire burns during cold weather. Previously The Market Cross Hotel, Arundel House offers fresh 3-course evening meals (when requested 24 hours in advance). For those with allergies, please note that Arundel House has dog (Sweep) and a cat (Tanta). For those with no allergies, both are very friendly and happy to meet guests! Whilst at Arundel House you can easily visit the Cheddar Caves, Cheddar Gorge and the Mendip Hills.

The Crown Inn- With parts dating back to the 13th century, this 16th century inn is now a small country pub offering free Wi-Fi, 2 bars, a separate restaurant and comfortable en suite accommodation. In the heart of the small, charming village of Gayton, the Crown Inn offers 4 comfortable and homely rooms, furnished in a traditional cottage style. Each room has an en suite shower or bathroom.
