It has lovely countryside views and plenty of amenities. The B&B is convenient for the Dartford crossing and the M25. London Excel and City Airport can be reached in a 20-minute drive. Stifford Clays was built in the 18th century and has a mulberry tree that is hundreds of years old and is one of only 18 of its kind in the UK. Soldiers were accommodated here during the World Wars. Room are spread across the main building and an annexe. Most of the bedrooms have been newly refurbished and decorated to a high standard.

The Wheatsheaf Inn- Situated on Broadway in the charming little market town of Shifnal in Shropshire, this Grade II listed inn is an authentic traditional pub with cosy, comfortable accommodation. Originally built in the 17th century, the Wheatsheaf Inn boasts charming original features and sensitively refurbished accommodation. There are just 2 rooms, both of which have been carefully refurbished in a traditional style. In some parts of the accommodation, 17th century oak floors have been revealed and delicately restored. The original timbers and beams are still in place and remain a traditional feature of the inn. The pub area also still features huge beams from the building's original timber frame, as well as low ceilings, real open fireplaces and traditional furniture. The inn is situated on the main road running through the village from north to south.The M54 motorway is within easy reach and the town's railway station is within easy walking distance.

Sculthorpe Mill- The Sculthorpe Mill is a charming 18th century mill set in beautiful gardens. A non-smoking restaurant and cosy bar areas offer a bar or ? la carte menu, as well as a choice of wines and real ale. Westbury House- This 3-star rated, Lakeland-stone, Victorian house is set in a quiet side street, approximately 5 minutes' walk from the train/bus station. Jo and Alan offer quality accommodation and excellent value for money. They are very happy to advise you on any walks and have maps to assist you. They can also book you on to tours and make dinner reservations for you at one of the many excellent restaurants in the surrounding area, or beyond. The house is situated opposite Ellerthwaite Park and is a gentle 20-minute walk from Lake Windermere itself.

Charde Guest House- Conveniently situated, Charde Guest House offers comfortable, good value accommodation in a welcoming environment, 3 miles (4.8 km) from Birmingham International Airport. All rooms are comfortably furnished, with satellite TV and en suite facilities. There are also tea and coffee making facilities, as well as a hairdryer and ironing facilities. An inclusive continental breakfast is available and there are also a number of restaurants in the surrounding area. Free Wi-Fi internet access and free parking are available to guests.

George and Pilgrims- The George & Pilgrim Hotel is situated in the beautiful town of Glastonbury. Founded in the early 15th century, the hotel has welcomed people for over 500 years.
