They can also book you on to tours and make dinner reservations for you at one of the many excellent restaurants in the surrounding area, or beyond. The house is situated opposite Ellerthwaite Park and is a gentle 20-minute walk from Lake Windermere itself.

Dorset Hotel - BandB- Centrally located in Ryde on the Isle of Wight, the hotel is just 300 yards from the Seafront Esplanade, and 3 minutes' walk from the hovercraft, bus and railway stations. The Dorset Hotel B&B has a number of comfortable bedrooms to offer. For the single traveller to the family on holiday, most rooms are en suite with colour TVs and hospitality trays. Six Bells Inn- The Six Bells is a perfect country escape set on the edge of the village green, near the duck pond in the pretty Suffolk village of Bardwell. Originating in the late 1500s, the Inn was enlarged in the 19th century and more recently by ourselves. It now offers a characterful blend of old and new. Totally surrounded by countryside, it offers total peace and tranquillity, great food and a country atmosphere. Yet due to good major roads links of the M11/A11 & A14, it is a surprisingly easy drive from London and the Midlands. We offer all of the delights of a country inn: excellent food and drink in a friendly and hospitable atmosphere. Gordon Ferguson and his team prepare a varying 3-course dinner menu each evening. The dishes range from the contemporary to the traditional. Prime local produce, fresh fish, Suffolk pork and lamb, and game in season are prepared daily for you to enjoy. We also offer a limited vegetarian menu and a small evening supper menu. We can prepare additional vegetarian dishes, gluten free dishes and cater for other dietary needs if we are advised of your requirements prior to your stay.

The York Hotel- The York Hotel is a contemporary cafe bar with 7 delightful en suite bedrooms. The hotel benefits from free car parking, home-cooked meals and friendly staff. The York Hotel has a bar and disco open until 01:00 on Thursdays, and until 03:00 on Friday and Saturday.

The Old Crown Coaching Inn- In the heart of the quiet market town, this charming former coaching inn dates back to the 16th century and has retained its original cobbled courtyard and fountain. The hotel's central location makes it an ideal base for exploring Faringdon's picturesque streets and the surrounding countryside. Once a month, the archway leading to the hotel's courtyard, just off the market square, is home to stalls from the local farmers' market. All of the hotel's rooms are decorated in light, neutral colours and have wooden furnishings. Some of the rooms still feature carefully preserved period features, such as original wooden beams.

Bank House Coldstream- With fabulous views of the River Tweed, this accommodation close to the English/Scottish border is 45 minutes from the Edinburgh bypass. With a great location for visiting Edinburgh or the Borders, Bank House is 15 minutes from the train station and is close to bus routes. Some rooms have facilities suitable for longer stays for families or couples.
