Newton House Guesthouse- These 2 Victorian town houses are 10 minutes' walk from the city centre, and an even shorter walk from Christ Church College and the Thames. Newton House Guesthouse is well located for exploring Oxford on foot, and is the B&B closest to historic Christchurch. Major coach sites and the train station are within 1.2 km of the guest house, and buses stop right outside. The well-presented guest house has free Wi-Fi internet access and a private car park. Beehive Inn- One of the oldest pubs in Grantham, the Beehive Inn dates back to the 16th century and is named for the living beehive in the tree outside. At the Beehive Inn you will find a wide selection of real ales, lagers and good-value food. The TV shows sporting events and there is a garden for warmer weather. Since at least 1830 there has been a hive of bees in a lime tree above the pub's sign. This unique feature has protected status from the local council.

The White Horse Inn- Good-value en suite rooms and tasty food are available at The White Horse. The inn dates back to the 17th century and is located on the A140 near Eye. The delightful inn has comfortable motel-style rooms with free Wi-Fi and Freeview TV. Rooms are in a separate annexe in the inn's grounds. The White Horse Inn is located midway between Ipswich and Norwich, and offers welcoming hospitality to travellers, as it has done for many years. Food is served in the restaurant and bar all day.

Roman Rooms Hotel- Roman Rooms Hotel is in Wolverton centre and offers en suite rooms and a free Wi-Fi internet connection. It is a few minutes walk from Wolverton Train Station. The Griffin serves a delicious range of traditional English, American and Mexican food, from traditional Sunday lunch - always a favourite with regulars - to fajitas, jambalaya, echiladas, Cajun flavours and a range of English favourites. The Kings Head- This charming hotel rests in a picturesque little village, one and a half miles from Silverstone racecourse. Here, comfortable accommodation is found in a converted barn, offering modern facilities whilst retaining a rustic feel. The hotel pub has recently been refurbished to a high standard.
