Granby House- Just a short walk from the heart of historic York, this attractive Victorian terraced house offers en suite accommodation, free parking and a quiet yet convenient location, just off the main road. Granby House is just over half a mile (800 m) from York's historic city walls and York Minster is only a mile (1.6 km) away. York Railway Station is 0.7 miles (1.1 km) away. The Old Vicarage, Bridgwater- A small, historic, country cottage style property, situated in the town centre. Ideal for business; perfect for leisure. Modern conveniences in a historic setting. Red Lion- Built in the 1700s, The Red Lion is a country inn offering a comfortable, friendly environment 2 miles (3.2 km) from the A5 and close to the M69, M1 and M6. The inn has beamed ceilings and open fires, and a car park for up to 35 cars. There is free Wi-Fi available throughout. The Red Lion is convenient for the middle of the country, due to the old Roman routes of Fosse Way and Watling Street.

Many grades of walks can be started from the house the staff are happy to advise you on them and offer maps and guides to help. Locally organised tours can also be arranged for you, with collection and drop-off at the property. Although not a hotel, Broadlands Guest House is proud to have been awarded '3 AA Yellow Stars Highly Commended', in July 2009. This award is given to the top 10% of 3-star Guest Accommodation. Guests are offered free car park passes for use whilst staying at Broadlands. These can be used in all SLDC car parks in the area.
