The Gatwick Belmont is close to Gatwick Airport, but not on the flight path. This makes it convenient airport guest house accommodation, without the noise and bustle. Stansted Lodge Ltd.- Around 7 minutes from Stansted Airport, this accommodation offers quality rooms, competitive prices and transfers to/from the airport and Elsenham Rail Station. Stansted Lodge Ltd. offers transfers to the airport from 04:00 (free), and from the airport until 22:00 (additional cost). Elsenham Rail Station transfers are free. Located in the lovely village of Elsenham, Stansted Lodge is about one mile due north of the airport. Staff pride themselves on providing clean, secure and warm rooms, with an even warmer, friendly service. A laundry facility is available. The accommodation is walking distance from Elsenham train station which gives direct access to London Liverpool Street or Cambridge. Stansted Lodge is not located under a flight paths, so no planes fly overhead.

Chombeys- Chombeys is a stylish farmhouse overlooking the village green at Tollerton, only 15 minutes from the city of York. The village is in the heart of the Vale of York and just off the A19, making it an ideal base for North Yorkshire. Chombeys is a comfortable house across 3 floors, with gas central heating throughout. The rooms are well sized and offer you tea/coffee and a TV. Breakfast is served from 07:30 to 08:00 and features local produce, specially cooked on an Aga. Chombeys prides itself on giving good service and tries to accommodate any special requirements that guests may have.

Beachbrow Hotel- Built in 1700 and overlooking the pier, this family-run hotel is close to the town centre, the bus and train stations, golf, fishing, and is 8 miles from Dover ferry port. Ken or Lynn will welcome you into their cosy, period hotel with helpful, friendly staff willing to help. Single, double, triple and family rooms are available, some of which are en suite. Lord Nelson's flag officers stayed here in the late 1700s. The lounge Bar and some of the rooms have wonderful sea views.

New Flying Horse Inn- The New Flying Horse Inn is a 17th century posting house with oak beams and gleaming brasses. Romans, Saxons and the 17th century smugglers have all left their mark on Wye, a historic village set in some of the most beautiful countryside in the Garden of England. The inn has 9 bedrooms all with en suite facilities. Some of the rooms are in a converted coach house. The hotel is located just off the A28 between Ashford and Canterbury in an ideal location to explore the surrounding countryside. The pub has a good restaurant serving excellent food, using mainly local produce when available. The attractive patio and large garden are popular for summer drinks. Canterbury with its historic past and many attractions is only a short drive away, as is Leeds Castle, said to be the loveliest castle in the world.
