Rossmore Hotel- Located 5 minutes from the M11 and A406, and 25 minutes from London, this hotel offers a comfortable night's sleep and is a good base for visiting London and its attractions. Westbury House- This 3-star rated, Lakeland-stone, Victorian house is set in a quiet side street, approximately 5 minutes' walk from the train/bus station. Jo and Alan offer quality accommodation and excellent value for money. They are very happy to advise you on any walks and have maps to assist you. They can also book you on to tours and make dinner reservations for you at one of the many excellent restaurants in the surrounding area, or beyond. The house is situated opposite Ellerthwaite Park and is a gentle 20-minute walk from Lake Windermere itself.

Dartbridge Inn- Just off the A38 on the edge of Dartmoor National Park, The Dartbridge Inn has en suite rooms, a relaxed bar with Real Ales, and a restaurant serving food daily. The Dartbridge Inn is opposite the River Dart and close to Totnes. The A38 is a main route between Exeter and Plymouth. The open fires and oak beams create a charming atmosphere in which to enjoy good food, wines and coffees. A recent refurbishment of the restaurant and bar has given the country inn a fresh look.

Durlock Lodge- With is quiet location opposite the abbey, yet within walking distance of traditional old English pubs and restaurants, Durlock Lodge offers charming accommodation set in a traditional British village. You can have a self service continental breakfast as early or late as you wish. Cooked breakfasts are not available but there are a range of cafes in the area that provide a full range of breakfasts. Six Bells Inn- The Six Bells is a perfect country escape set on the edge of the village green, near the duck pond in the pretty Suffolk village of Bardwell. Originating in the late 1500s, the Inn was enlarged in the 19th century and more recently by ourselves. It now offers a characterful blend of old and new. Totally surrounded by countryside, it offers total peace and tranquillity, great food and a country atmosphere. Yet due to good major roads links of the M11/A11 & A14, it is a surprisingly easy drive from London and the Midlands. We offer all of the delights of a country inn: excellent food and drink in a friendly and hospitable atmosphere. Gordon Ferguson and his team prepare a varying 3-course dinner menu each evening. The dishes range from the contemporary to the traditional. Prime local produce, fresh fish, Suffolk pork and lamb, and game in season are prepared daily for you to enjoy. We also offer a limited vegetarian menu and a small evening supper menu. We can prepare additional vegetarian dishes, gluten free dishes and cater for other dietary needs if we are advised of your requirements prior to your stay.

Warrens- Finalist for Guest House of The Year 2006-2007, this charming Victorian town house is ideally positioned just a short stroll from the historic city walls and all of York's main attractions.
