The Pilgrims Rest- The Pilgrims Rest is a sympathetically renovated, Grade II listed, late 16th-early 17th century building, now housing a bar and lounge area, a dining room and 6 en suite bedrooms. The Pilgrims rest has a rich and fascinating history. In the early 19th century, the building was home to a farrier, whose forge stood next door. As recently as the early 1900s, part of the building was a butcher's. Today, the property has been carefully restored and sensitively refurbished by your hosts, Gerard and Denise McNicholas. There are now 6 en suite rooms with all the comforts the modern traveller requires, including tea/coffee making facilities and flat-screen TVs with Freeview digital channels. Each room also has a work desk and ironing facilities. The Pilgrims Rest has a bar and lounge area and a dining room where breakfast is served or where an evening meal can be enjoyed. Free wireless internet is available in public areas. In the centre of Littlebourne, on the A257 main road, only 4 miles (6.5 km) south of Canterbury, the Pilgrims Rest makes a good base, whatever your reason for visiting the area. The Antelope- The Antelope Hotel is an old coaching house on the High Street, convenient for Poole Quay. It has a welcoming atmosphere, delicious food, comfortable rooms and relaxed hospitality. The Antelope retains part of its original 15th-century building, yet has modern features like Wi-Fi internet access (at an additional cost). Step into traditional, cosy bar of Poole's oldest hostelry and walk through to Smuggler's restaurant with its cosy nautical theme. There is a large seasonal menu, as well as Real Ales, fine wines and speciality coffees.

The Royal Hotel- Amid its own spacious grounds, an easy walk from the seafront, this renovated Victorian hotel boasts an array of leisure amenities. When not treating yourself to the English and European bistro restaurant (Viceroys), you could also try the Indian Bollywood restaurant, with food cooked by North and Eastern Indian chefs. During the day, stroll across to the seafront, promenade, clock tower or town centre and take advantage of this traditional seaside resort.

The Olde Coach House- The Olde Coach House is home to 6 brand new, en suite bedrooms, relaxing bar areas and a contemporary restaurant. Set in the village of Ashby St.Ledger, the guest house is located on the A361 just off junction 18 of the M1. Six Bells Inn- The Six Bells is a perfect country escape set on the edge of the village green, near the duck pond in the pretty Suffolk village of Bardwell. Originating in the late 1500s, the Inn was enlarged in the 19th century and more recently by ourselves. It now offers a characterful blend of old and new. Totally surrounded by countryside, it offers total peace and tranquillity, great food and a country atmosphere. Yet due to good major roads links of the M11/A11 & A14, it is a surprisingly easy drive from London and the Midlands. We offer all of the delights of a country inn: excellent food and drink in a friendly and hospitable atmosphere. Gordon Ferguson and his team prepare a varying 3-course dinner menu each evening. The dishes range from the contemporary to the traditional. Prime local produce, fresh fish, Suffolk pork and lamb, and game in season are prepared daily for you to enjoy. We also offer a limited vegetarian menu and a small evening supper menu. We can prepare additional vegetarian dishes, gluten free dishes and cater for other dietary needs if we are advised of your requirements prior to your stay.

Commodore Hotel- Located on the cliff tops at Southbourne, next to the cliff lifts and Fisherman's Walk, this hotel has spectacular views. It is close to the New Forest and Bournemouth town centre. Panoramic sea views across Poole Bay take in Swanage to the West, and Hengistbury Head and the Isle of Wight to the East. Great-value food and drinks, including Real Ales, are served daily in the lounge bar. Commodore Hotel was used to house American airmen in WW2. Today, following refurbishment, each bedroom has a brand-new bed with luxurious duvets and pillows, and Gilchrist and Soames toiletries. Bathrooms have new fittings and power showers.

Ashby's Gastropub and Boutique Hotel- Close to the seafront in the heart of Southsea, this recently refurbished boutique hotel offers beautiful rooms with modern comforts such as free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TVs. Flexistay Aparthotel- Near Tooting Bec Common, Flexistay Aparthotel offer modern apartments with access to contemporary self-catering facilities, a 5-minute walk from Tooting Broadway tube station. All of the comfortable rooms are well furnished, with satellite TV and free Wi-Fi internet access. Every apartment has a contemporary bathroom, as well as the use of a kitchen, complete with cookware, a washer/dryer and a lounge area. An inclusive all-day breakfast is available on a self-service basis. Nearby, there are a number of cosmopolitan restaurants, bars and shops. The Falcon BandB- The Falcon B&B is a 10-minute walk from Oxford city centre, and has views of the college boathouses. The warm and friendly B&B is within 2 late-Victorian town houses located opposite Queens College's playing fields. Each room is well furnished and has an en suite shower. Full English breakfast is included in the room rate.

Moss Lodge- The sophisticated and elegant Moss Lodge is minutes from the centre of Rochdale and junctions 20 and 21 of the M62. The Visit Britain 5-star guest accommodation has a relaxed country-house atmosphere. Built in 1848, the restored building has a gym, steam rooms and power showers. The 14 individual rooms are en suite and have an LCD TV with DVD/CD player, luxury toiletries, a hairdryer and room service. Manchester is a 20-minute drive away.

The Fox And Hounds- In the heart of the Hampshire countryside is the Fox and Hounds. This cosy pub is in the pretty village of Crawley, near Winchester. The bar, with its 3 open log fires, serves a range of meals and a selection of English ales, lagers, wines and sprits. Rooms are separate from the pub itself, and each has its own fridge. A typical, quiet, English rural village, Crawley has a pond, church and many thatched cottages. The Fox and Hounds has been part of village life since the 19th century. The pub was rebuilt in 1910 in a Tudor style.

White Horse Guesthouse- This highly recommended, family-run guest house is set in its own grounds and is ideal for touring the area and enjoying the coastal walks that take in some of Devon's best scenery. The White Horse was built in the mid 19th century by Lord Churston. Subsequent owners appear to have been offering accommodation to paying guests for over 100 years. Each room is en suite and beautifully decorated with crisp linen, fluffy towels, tea and coffee making facilities, a TV and a DVD player. The hotel has a lounge bar which serves food, a dining area, a large garden, and ample forecourt parking with space for trailers.
