The house is situated opposite Ellerthwaite Park and is a gentle 20-minute walk from Lake Windermere itself.

The Crown Inn- With parts dating back to the 13th century, this 16th century inn is now a small country pub offering free Wi-Fi, 2 bars, a separate restaurant and comfortable en suite accommodation.
