Applegarth Villa and JR's Restaurant- This family-owned and run hotel is set in a magnificent Victorian mansion house in a quiet street close to the heart of Windermere village. With a magnificent oak panelled lounge, bar and conservatory restaurant serving imaginative cuisine by our award- winning head chef, you will find the Applegarth is the perfect base for exploring the Lakes. Our wonderful location gives you the opportunity of stepping onto the lake land fells, boarding a steamer on Lake Windermere or visiting some of the many attractions the Lake District has to offer. Yet the hotel is only 20 minutes by car from the M6 and a very short walk from the main bus and rail services.

The Vines- Set in the picturesque village of Black Bourton, near Bampton, this charming rural retreat provides the ideal base from which to explore Oxford, Swindon, Witney or Brize Norton and the beautiful Cotswolds. The Vines Hotel and Restaurant, has long been acclaimed for its fine dining in elegant surroundings. It was famously designed by John Clegg of the BBC's Real Rooms team and provides traditional log fires alongside luxurious contemporary-style d?cor. Due to its success, the hotel now also features a detached wing in the gardens overlooking the lovely Black Bourton church. Independently owned and run by Andy and Karen Gerges, The Vines aims to provide a pleasant and relaxing stay, with packages personally tailored to your needs (subject to availability). They also offer space for functions of up to 100 people.

Gainsborough Lodge- Gainsborough Lodge is conveniently situated only five minutes from Gatwick Airport. An extended Edwardian House with 16 rooms and bungalow annex of 14 rooms. Family run set in half-acre garden. Long term car park available on the premises per day. We have a free phone courtesy pick up point at the airport, available from 9:00am - 11:00pm, which runs every 30 minutes on the hour & half hour when requested. A taxi is GBP 5.00 outside of these hours. Horley Town Centre is a five minute walk away and offers Indian, Italian, Spanish & Chinese food, pizza, fish & chips and four pubs. Evening meals are not provided, but guests are invited to use our Conservatory dining room for take-aways. Unfortunately, the guest house does not have a lift.

Schofield Guest House- This privately-run guest house offers bed and breakfast accommodation close to the town centre, an easy stroll from the promenade, shopping centre, North Beach and harbour. Fairway Hotel - BandB- The Fairway Hotel is situated in what is probably the most central part of London, with 35 rooms all with central heating, colour TV and wash hand basin facilities. En-suite or sharing facilities are available in all rooms. Tea and coffee making facilities are available in all rooms. The family run hotel has a home from home atmosphere as one of the many satisfied customers remarked having clean, comfortable rooms. The English breakfast is exquisite keeping one going well into dinner time.

Chure House- With a quiet location in the heart of Stow-on-the-Wold, just a minute's walk from the town square, this charming 4-star bed and breakfast has been awarded a prestigious Silver Award. Chure House has received a 4-star rating from VisitBritain, along with a Silver Award for service, cleanliness and hospitality. The bed and breakfast has just 3 rooms, ensuring all guests enjoy friendly, attentive, personalised service. This can be explored by visiting the town's impressive 13th century church, the 15th century guildhall and John Webb's windmill, which houses a museum of rural life. Stansted Airport is only a 15-minute drive away.
