In reception there is a payphone that may be used by all guests. Alongside this is a wide selection of maps, pamphlets and general information on Cambridge. The Crescent Hotel- In the heart of Ilkley, close to the Yorkshire Dales and the famous Ilkley Moor, this historic hotel offers free parking, good food, a lively bar and good-value guest accommodation. In the centre of the picturesque town of Ilkley, the Crescent Hotel has a great location, close to Ilkley Railway Station and the River Wharfe. The stunning natural beauty of the Yorkshire Dales is close by and Ilkley Moor is within walking distance. Leeds Bradford International Airport is within easy reach. The unique crescent-shaped building dates back over 150 years and today houses 3-star guest accommodation. All of the en suite rooms have satellite TV and tea/coffee making facilities. The hotel's busy town-centre bar offers local beers, as well as wine and cocktails. The Crescent also offers formal dining in the quaint restaurant and a more casual option in the Brasserie. All meals are freshly cooked fresh to order and made with locally sourced produce.

The Tree Guest House- The Tree Guest House is a pub and restaurant in a small village 5 miles south of Cambridge. There are frequent buses from Stapleford to Cambridge city centre. Stansted Airport is 20 minutes away and a main line train station is within walking distance. Home-cooked meals are available for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The Woolpack Inn- Rich in historic character and traditional charm, this stone-built coaching inn originally dates back to the 1500s and today offers comfortable en suite rooms and delicious food. In the charming Somerset village of Beckington, 11 miles (18 km) south of Bath and just 3 miles (5 km) from Frome, the Woolpack Inn offers a warm welcome and a relaxing stay with that little touch of luxury. The inn offers delicious freshly prepared dishes, include game from the local shoot and fish delivered daily from Brixham. The bar serves fine traditional ales and has a stone floor and a large open log fire for those cold winter days. The courtyard garden is a great spot in which to relax in the warmer months. The Castle BandB- The Castle is a stylish and friendly bar, restaurant and B&B in Cambridge's historical centre. It is close to the university colleges and the punts on the River Cam. The Castle has an excellent location just minutes away from the city sights and metres from excellent shopping. It is well positioned for Cambridge's bustling nightlife, restaurants, bars and clubs. Delicious food is available in the restaurant, and private functions can be catered for, on request. Very popular party nights are held on Fridays and Saturdays. Please be aware that these go on into the early hours and may not suit all guests.

Bank House Coldstream- With fabulous views of the River Tweed, this accommodation close to the English/Scottish border is 45 minutes from the Edinburgh bypass. With a great location for visiting Edinburgh or the Borders, Bank House is 15 minutes from the train station and is close to bus routes. Some rooms have facilities suitable for longer stays for families or couples.

Morton House Hotel- This family-run hotel is 3 miles (4.8 km) from East Midlands Airport, 1.7 miles (2.7 km) from Donington Race Track and 20 minutes from Alton Towers. Morton House Hotel is a non-smoking, pet-friendly hotel, and offers good value accommodation. Breakfast will set you up for the day, with house specials on the table every morning. Enjoy homemade brown bread and honey from the hotel's hives. Dietary needs and vegetarians can be catered for.

The White Hart has 12 individually designed en suite double rooms, 6 of which are in the main building and 6 in the converted stables alongside the inn. There is a cosy bar with a log fire and free Wi-Fi. Near the historic market towns of Wallingford and Abingdon, the White Hart is not far from Reading, Oxford, Ascot and Windsor. The restaurant and bar are not open on Sunday or Public Holiday evenings.

Combe Lodge- Combe Lodge is a small, family run guest house with panoramic views over looking Ilfracombe harbour and surrounding coastline. The Gleneagles Hotel- Overlooking the beautiful cliff gardens and with panoramic sea views, the Gleneagles offers 4-star guest accommodation within Southend's tranquil conservation area. Gleneagles is a Grade II listed building, which has now been completely refurbished, restoring it to its former glory. The location is perfect for both business and holiday travellers, with the town, transport links, theatres, quality restaurants and the pier/sea front all just a few minutes' walk away. The hotel's coffee house and residents' bar is a comfortable place to enjoy the view and relax with the papers. A full range of coffee and tea is served with cakes, light savoury lunches or snacks. Unfortunately, due to the age of the building, the Gleneagles hotel does not have a lift.

The Unicorn- The Unicorn is a charming pub with rooms just south of Cambridge city centre. It has a 40-seater restaurant and some original parts dating back to the 17th century. The main pub has a large garden with facilities for 120 people, and a children's play area. The en suite rooms are in a separate annexe designed in keeping with the original building. The city centre is easily accessed by bus.

The Pied Bull- Dating from 1155, The Pied Bull is situated within the walls of the Roman city of Chester. Reputed to be the city's first licensed house, today the inn's interior reflects its distinctive heritage and haunted past. Period features include an original handmade staircase dating from 1533. All rooms are comfortably furnished with en suite bathrooms and modern facilities.
