Shakespeare House Guest House- With great reviews from national newspapers, this Gold Award winning, 5-star Guest Accommodation (from Quality in Tourism for Visit Britain) is said to have been visited by Shakespeare. In the village of Grendon Underwood, 20 minutes from Oxford, Shakespeare House is a beautifully restored Grade II Listed property that dates back over 500 years. Firgarth Guest House- This elegant Victorian house, built in Lakeland stone around 1875, offers views to the rear over Wynlass Beck, along with comfortable en suite rooms, a residents' lounge and private parking. Firgarth Guest House is conveniently situated just 12 minutes' walk from the centre of Windermere, which offers a range of shops, pubs and restaurants. The guest house has a great location, between the busy villages of Windermere and Bowness. It is a clean, comfortable and reasonably priced bed and breakfast, situated in the number one location within the English Lake District National Park: Windermere. The guest lounge is comfortable, with plenty of books and information on local walks, as well as a selection of games to keep you amused in the evenings. The Mowbray Bed and Breakfast- This bed and breakfast is convenient for Cambridge, a beautiful and picturesque city famous for the university and its historic buildings. The Mowbray is situated on the south side of the ring road, with easy access to Addenbrookes Hospital, the A11, A14 and by foot to town in 25 minutes.
