The Parks ( Guest Accommodation )- This small, family-run guest house is 500 metres from the seafront and a 300-metre level walk from Torquay train station and the English Riviera Conference Centre. The non-smoking, licensed guest house is situated next to parkland in the heart of the English Riviera. It is a 2-minute walk from Torre Abbey and Gardens, and a 10-minute scenic walk from the marina and town centre. There is ample parking, an outdoor heated swimming pool and a bar. Dr Syns Guest House- Just a short stroll away from the beach, this old-world-style guesthouse is set in Dymchurch, next to the Romney Hythe and Dymchurch Steam Railway and only 15 minutes from the Eurotunnel. Named after Dr Syns, a mythical character created by actor and author Russel Thorndyke, the Dr Syns Guesthouse dates back to the 1700s, making it one of the oldest buildings in Dymchurch.
