It is located at the start of the Cotswold Way - a well known walk along the Cotswold Hill to Bath The inn was named The Volunteer in the mid 1800's because local men used to 'sign on' there for the volunteer armies. The Manor- Centrally located in the Moorlands and under 5 miles from Alton Towers, this beautiful 250 year old house with a landscaped walled garden was originally built as a rectory.
