The beach and the Cliff Lift are across the road, and the harbour and town centre are within easy walking distance.

The Helyar Arms- Set in the picturesque village of East Coker, this charming 15th century inn provides the ideal base from which to explore the Heritage South Coast, including Dorchester, Glastonbury and Bath. To reflect its rich heritage, the Helyar Arms aims to provide a rustic and relaxed atmosphere, with traditional entertainment in the form of a skittle alley, an inviting open log fire in the beamed bar and locally sourced home-cooked food, prepared to order. In the warmer months you can also enjoy a drink in the pleasant garden. The Helyar Arms also provides an adjoining bar, the Apple Loft, suitable for private parties. It can seat up to 40 people or 24 round one large table.

The White Horse Inn- A Traditional 17th century village freehouse with a beautiful riverside location, set on the very edge of the Exmoor National Park, tucked in between Cleeve Abbey and Torre Cider Farm, our idyllic location is the perfect base from which to explore some of Exmoor's most renowned beauty spots. Our comfortable bedrooms have all been recently modernised to include en-suite bathrooms, tea and coffee making facilities, and colour tv. We offer an extensive menu of top quality pub food everyday.

Le Chateau Japonais- This unique Japanese guest house is family-run, cosy and homely, around 5 minutes' walk from the town centre and 15 minutes from Hastings Beach. Duke Of Wellington Inn- The Duke of Wellington is an ivy-clad traditional eighteenth century inn located in Danby, near Whitby. The hotel is an ideal base for exploring the Moors, Whitby and the coast. Built in 1732, the Inn was used as a recruiting post during the Napoleonic Wars. An iron plaque of the Duke of Wellington was recently uncovered on the outside of the building and has been mounted on the fireplace in the bar. Restoration and refurbishment has improved the facilities whilst maintaining the character and charm of this traditional country inn.

Lidos Hotel- Ideally situated, Lidos Hotel is a short walk from Victoria Train Station, with excellent access to the London Underground and the Gatwick Express Service to Gatwick Airport. All rooms are comfortably furnished, with en suite facilities, a TV, desk and fridge. Lidos Hotel has friendly, helpful staff. An inclusive continental breakfast is offered to all guests. Conveniently, there is a bus stop in front of the hotel, served by a regular bus service. The Tate Britain gallery and The Apollo Theatre are a short walk from the hotel. Lidos Hotel is a 2-minute walk from numerous bars, pubs and restaurants. Buckingham Palace is with walking distance of the hotel.

Granby House is just over half a mile (800 m) from York's historic city walls and York Minster is only a mile (1.6 km) away. York Railway Station is 0.7 miles (1.1 km) away. York Racecourse is less than a mile (1.6 km) away and is as pleasant for a scenic walk as it is for the races. All of the en suite rooms are clean and comfortable with full central heating, TVs, tea/coffee, radio alarm clocks and hairdryers. For those who find stairs difficult, there are two rooms on the ground floor. A full, traditional cooked English breakfast is available every day. Granby House is a privately run guest house and prides itself on providing a warm friendly atmosphere, efficient service and comfortable surroundings.

New Flying Horse Inn- The New Flying Horse Inn is a 17th century posting house with oak beams and gleaming brasses. Romans, Saxons and the 17th century smugglers have all left their mark on Wye, a historic village set in some of the most beautiful countryside in the Garden of England. The inn has 9 bedrooms all with en suite facilities. Some of the rooms are in a converted coach house. The hotel is located just off the A28 between Ashford and Canterbury in an ideal location to explore the surrounding countryside. The pub has a good restaurant serving excellent food, using mainly local produce when available. The attractive patio and large garden are popular for summer drinks. Canterbury with its historic past and many attractions is only a short drive away, as is Leeds Castle, said to be the loveliest castle in the world. Wereham House- Andrew and Caroline Blyth welcome their guests into the warm, friendly atmosphere of the family-run Wereham House. Wereham House is a charming, bay-fronted Victorian/Georgian house located in Thetford town centre in South-West Norfolk. Just off the main A11 road to Norwich and North Norfolk, yet close to Bury St Edmunds and picturesque Suffolk villages, Thetford is an ideal base for exploring East Anglia. Wereham House offers free off-road car parking, a town centre location and comfortable surroundings and a garden to enjoy and relax in.

Green Court Hotel - BandB- Green Court Hotel is a small, budget B&B that is walking distance from Earl's Court Exhibition Centre and Olympia, and very convenient for the Tube network. Many shops and restaurants are in the local area and the hotel is a 2-minute walk from Earl's Court Station. Heathrow Airport can be reached via the Piccadilly Line of the Tube. Attractions such as the Buckingham Palace, the Tower of London and the museums are easily accessible. Green Court Hotel offers easy access to the West End, the Theatreland, Hyde Park and the famous shops of Oxford Street and Knightsbridge. The hotel does not have a lift.

Beambridge Inn (formerly Inn at Sampford)- Amid the beautiful scenery of rolling green hills, this charming inn is located in Wellington, Somerset, just a few miles from junctions 26 and 27 of the M5. Recently refurbished, the Beambridge Inn is a characteristic country pub with modern, stylish rooms, each of which is furnished with everything you'll need. For business events and special occasions, the Beambridge Inn offers a function room which overlooks the patio area. It has a capacity of up to 100 people and can cater for a variety of specifications.

Gainsborough Lodge- Gainsborough Lodge is conveniently situated only five minutes from Gatwick Airport. An extended Edwardian House with 16 rooms and bungalow annex of 14 rooms. Family run set in half-acre garden. Long term car park available on the premises per day. We have a free phone courtesy pick up point at the airport, available from 9:00am - 11:00pm, which runs every 30 minutes on the hour & half hour when requested. A taxi is GBP 5.00 outside of these hours. Horley Town Centre is a five minute walk away and offers Indian, Italian, Spanish & Chinese food, pizza, fish & chips and four pubs. Evening meals are not provided, but guests are invited to use our Conservatory dining room for take-aways. Unfortunately, the guest house does not have a lift.
