Watersmeet Country Inn- This recently extended and refurbished traditional country pub and restaurant has a lakeside garden, roaring log fires and rooms with views of the surrounding 10 acres of countryside. Offering calm accommodation with 1st-class dining facilities, the friendly Watersmeet Country Inn is only 5 miles (8 km) from Gloucester city centre and well placed for the motorway network. Bank House Coldstream- With fabulous views of the River Tweed, this accommodation close to the English/Scottish border is 45 minutes from the Edinburgh bypass. With a great location for visiting Edinburgh or the Borders, Bank House is 15 minutes from the train station and is close to bus routes. Some rooms have facilities suitable for longer stays for families or couples.

Blakes Of Dover- Blakes of Dover is quite unique as a non-smoking ale and wine bar with superior accommodation, less than 5 minutes from ferry and cruise terminals. The B&B is a 15-to-20-minute walk from Bath city centre, and public transport can be reached in 2 minutes' walk. The house is set in delightful gardens in a quiet conservation area on the southern slopes of Bath.

The Sportsmans Arms is well placed for exploring Cornwall. Looe and Polperro are only 5 miles (8 km) away, with the Eden project around a 30-minute drive. Looe and Polperro offer many restaurants, and the Sportsmans Arms can recommend an excellent Italian/English restaurant at the end of the road.

Urban House and Urban Retreat Spa- Enter this classic Regency building to find a stylish Brighton hotel with a newly created spa. Urban House has a good location in the centre of Brighton. The small, privately owned hotel has rooms with Elemis toiletries and a flat-screen TV. Urban Retreat Spa offers a variety of spa treatment packages and has a sauna, steam room and relaxation area for use at an additional cost.

The Glebe Country House Bed And Breakfast- The Glebe is an impressive manor house standing in its own extensive grounds, offering a choice of excellent breakfasts, located on the A11 at Elveden, 2 miles (3.2 km) from Thetford. Although not a hotel, The Glebe has en suite accommodation, easy access and free parking. All rooms are spacious, comfortable and well decorated. Each has a hospitality tray and a TV with Freeview channels. There are no bar or evening-meal facilities at The Glebe, but there are plenty of pubs and restaurants within 2-3 miles (3-5 km). The area is known for its wildlife and beautiful landscape, with nearby Thetford Forest being popular with walkers and cyclists. The Glebe is also close to Center Parcs.

Buckland Lodge Hotel - Guest House- Conveniently located close to the town centre and a short walk away from the rail and bus stations, this tastefully converted detached Victorian villa is situated on a tree-lined avenue. Originally built in 1846 and established as a hotel in 1977 by the Chandler family, this welcoming residence provides comfortable accommodation in a convenient and easily accessible location. Situated less than 3 miles from the M40, Buckland Lodge provides an ideal base from which to explore the Midlands, with Warwick, Kenilworth and the city of Coventry all a short drive away. Leamington Spa itself has much to offer, and its parks, gardens and town centre are all within walking distance from the guest house. All of the rooms at the guest house are en suite and are equipped with standard facilities. Each morning the guest house provides a full English breakfast, while evening meals are available on request.

Grove House Hotel- A beautiful building with a restaurant, bar and lounge, the welcoming and family-run Grove House is a 5-minute walk from Wellington's pubs, shops and rail station. The Sycamore Guest House is 10 minutes' walk or a short taxi ride from York Railway Station with its excellent rail links to the rest of England. The guest house also offers free, guaranteed on-street parking, opposite the house, at the end of the cul-de-sac.

The Old Greyhound Inn- This 400-year-old coaching inn is located south of Leicester on the old A6, in the village of Great Glen. The privately-run residence has charming guest rooms, a lounge and a bar serving traditional ales and lagers. An ? la carte restaurant serves lunch, dinner and an extensive bar menu.
