A full English breakfast is included in the room rate. Paxford is on the northern tip of the Cotswolds, and the pub has wonderful views across the countryside. There are some lovely walks in and around the village. You can take a half-mile stroll along the brook; a starting point for The Cotswold Way walk.

The Nightingale Lodge- This fun and friendly hostel offers shared and private accommodation in the diverse Georgian Quarter of South Liverpool, 10 minutes' walk from the city centre. The Nightingale Lodge has a welcoming atmosphere, with friendly, helpful staff. Groups are welcome, there is no curfew, and reception is open 24 hours a day. A cafe with leather chairs serves a range of coffees and specialist teas. Sutton dining room can seat 30 people and features a seating area with leather sofas. There is a 3-meat carvery every Sunday at Ascot Servery. Seven quaint en suite bedrooms have tea-making facilities, Freeview TV and allergy-free bedding.

The Three Coopers- Situated just off the Market Place in the town of Bedale in the Yorkshire Dales, this charming inn offers 5 rooms and a traditional pub serving real ales and home-cooked food. A 17th century former coaching inn, The Three Coopers has been fully updated to include a host of modern comforts, whilst still retaining its original features. If you enjoy walking, then Chislehurst is on one of the Green Chain routes from Mottingham Lane to Beckenham Park (4 1/2 miles). The Crown is very close to the well known Chislehurst Caves which extend for nearly 20 miles and date back over 4,000 years. The caves became more widely known after their use during the Second World War as an air raid shelter, not only for the locals but for over 10,000 Londoners who travelled to the caves each night by special train. It was so well organised that people could pay 1d per night for a bunk and there was also a cinema, church and hospital for them to use during their time underground. The caves are thought to be entirely man made and were created during three periods of time by our ancestors - well worth a visit. The Crown Inn has 7 guest rooms, all of which are non-smoking.
