Stone Head House- Just off the Pennine Way, this small, beautiful manor house was built in 1596 and is rich in original character and traditional charm. Today, it offers free Wi-Fi and lovely rooms. In the small valley of Stone Head, near Lothersdale and Cowling in North Yorkshire, Stone Head House once served as a working farm. There are only a handful of properties in the hidden valley, all of similar age. The beautiful original building has been carefully preserved and sensitively refurbished. With flagstone floors downstairs and a huge inglenook fireplace in the dining hall, the guest house provides charming bed and breakfast accommodation at very reasonable rates. Small and intimate, the guest house offers friendly, personal service. All of the rooms have tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast is cooked on the traditional Aga stove in the quaint farmhouse kitchen. A varied breakfast menu is available, including fresh-baked bread, full English breakfasts, smoked Alaskan salmon and oak-smoked kippers from Whitby.

Gainsborough Lodge- Gainsborough Lodge is conveniently situated only five minutes from Gatwick Airport. An extended Edwardian House with 16 rooms and bungalow annex of 14 rooms. Family run set in half-acre garden. Long term car park available on the premises per day. We have a free phone courtesy pick up point at the airport, available from 9:00am - 11:00pm, which runs every 30 minutes on the hour & half hour when requested. A taxi is GBP 5.00 outside of these hours. Horley Town Centre is a five minute walk away and offers Indian, Italian, Spanish & Chinese food, pizza, fish & chips and four pubs. Evening meals are not provided, but guests are invited to use our Conservatory dining room for take-aways. Unfortunately, the guest house does not have a lift.

1 Park Road- 1 Park Road is a tranquil, modern and luxury guest house. It is located a 2-minute walk from Windermere town centre and a 10-minute walk from Bowness and the train station. Nyton Hotel- Quiet family hotel, situated in residential road just off the a10. Only 10 minutes walk from the Cathederal and City Centre. The railway station is just a 15 minute walk. The Nyton is situated in a quiet residential area of the City of Ely in 2 acres of attractive grounds adjoining the 18 hole golf course for which reduced green fees are available for guests. The Cathedral and City Centre are within 10 minutes walk, the station and river are 15 minutes walk. Fishing and cruising facilities are available. Arden Court- Set within a fine Victorian town house, which boasts many original features, this charming period property is ideally set less than 5 minutes away from the harbour, town centre and beaches. Providing a warm, friendly and relaxing stay, Arden Court boasts 10 comfortable bedrooms and a licensed bar and lounge with beautiful views over Torwood Gardens and one of Torquay's finest Victorian churches with an incredible steeple. During your stay you can easily visit the main local attractions, including Torquay Marina, Abbey Sands, Town centre and Fleet Walk Shopping Precinct. Water-sports and coastal walks are also available nearby. Please note: this guest house is not ideal for disabled people due to the steps you have to go up to the main front door.

The Swan Inn- This family-run public house was built over 150 years ago as a coaching inn, and is situated in the picturesque Wylye Valley, just 10 minutes' drive from Salisbury. Since it was built it has been a watering and feeding stop for people traveling between Bath and Salisbury. Our rooms offer en suite facilities and we have a traditional beamed bar, separate restaurant, skittle alley and riverside garden where it is free for residents to fish. Stonehenge is nearby.
