Horwood House - Horwood House, set in 38 acres of stunning grounds, is a country house with modern facilities, located 15 minutes from central Milton Keynes and Milton Keynes Station. Samuel Whitbread, founder of the brewing business, was born in the main house in 1720 and it remained within the Whitbread family until 1890s, becoming a hotel in 1987.

The Crown Inn Hotel - The Crown Hotel is a family-run historic inn and restaurant, built in 1610. It retains many interesting features, such as Tudor cellars and exposed internal beams. The Crown Hotel is in the centre of the high street in Long Melford, north of Sudbury. The en suite bedrooms are well-appointed and have a flat-screen TV. In the restaurant, modern British cuisine is served at lunch and dinner, and in summer, you can enjoy drinks and dinner in the courtyard garden.

The Red Lion Hotel - This wisteria-clad historical hotel is uniquely located by the banks of the River Thames, close to Heathrow and Reading airports. Originally a coaching inn on the road to Oxford, the Red Lion Hotel has been offering hospitality to guests for over 600 years. Previous notable guests include Charles I and Queen Charlotte. The Red Lion Hotel is a combination of 15th, 16th and 17th century architecture and is furnished with antiques throughout. Privately owned by the Gill family, the hotel offers personal hospitality with friendly and attentive service. Rooms in the hotel are individually furnished in an English country style, containing period furniture and antique prints and paintings. Many enjoy tranquil river views.
