The Loch Leven Hotel- With a beautiful loch-side setting and dramatic views of the mountains, this family-run hotel offers free Wi-Fi and charming accommodation, great for a relaxing break or an activity holiday. In one of the most spectacular, naturally beautiful regions of Scotland, the Loch Leven Hotel is a traditional Scottish Highlands hotel near Glencoe, Ballachulish, Fort William and Ben Nevis. The hotel was originally established in the 17th century as a coaching inn and ferry terminal for the Ballachulish Ferry (when this was merely a small rowboat). Since taking over in December 1999, your hosts, Hilary and her partner John, have sympathetically modernised and completely refurbished the hotel. All of the comfortable and attractive en suite rooms are individually decorated. All rooms have TVs, telephones, tea/coffee making facilities and hairdryers. With spectacular views over the streams to the mountains beyond, the bar and restaurant offer home-cooked meals, made with superb local produce.
