Sands Hotel- Four star recently upgraded character building situated along the shore of Scapa Flow in Burray village. All rooms are en suite overlooking the beach and pier where local fishermen work. Our busy restaurant is open daily serving lunches, bar meals and a la carte. Fresh local produce is used whenever possible. The rooms, restaurant, garden room and lounge bar are all non-smoking; smokers are allowed to smoke in the Sands Bar. The Sands Hotel, originally built as a fish store in 1860, has been recently refurbished and upgraded to provide a high standard of both bed and breakfast and self-catering accommodation in Burray village. The imposing building overlooks Burray Harbour, Watersound Bay and South Ronaldsay. The village shop and Burray post offce are just 2 minutes walk away, and there is also a garage nearby. The Sands Hotel is just 4 miles from the Pentland Ferries terminal at St Margarets Hope.

Gifford House- A warm welcome is assured at this attractive stone Victorian terrace house, conveniently located just over a mile south of Princes Street on the main A7. Well located for all Edinburgh's amenities, Gifford House offers a pleasant, relaxing stay, with rooms of a high standard. Tarbet Guest House- Situated in Scotland's first National Park, this charming guest house is set high above the village of Tarbet, boasting spectacular views over Loch Lomond and towards the western side of Ben Lomond. Set in nearly 7 acres of private gardens, less than one hour from Glasgow, to the north-east side of the house is an attractive woodland which is frequented by deer and other wildlife. This includes a beautiful waterfall which feeds various deep pools on the East Burn, on its way to Loch Lomond. Local amenities are excellent and include various restaurants and takeaways, sundry shops and traditional pubs. This house is a non-smoking establishment.

Creag Meagaidh- Set within the Cairngorm National Park, this small, family-run guest house offers the ideal base from which to explore the wonderful mountain ranges of Cairngorm and Monadh Liath. A comfortable and modern home, Creag Meagaidh stands in the village of Newtonmore, which has a wonderful circular route around it called the Wildcat Trail. This is a fabulous walk (or run) with great views of the River Spey, the Cairngorm Mountains, Creag Dubh, woodlands, waterfalls and all sorts of wildlife. For moments of relaxation, the house has a secluded patio area at the rear. There is also ample parking space to the front of the house, and a secure cleaning and storage area for bikes, skis and other equipment.
