Balmore Guest House - This small, family-run guest house is in the Tollcross area of the city, within easy reach of Edinburghs main attractions, including the castle, theatres and shops. Balmore Guest House offers good-value accommodation, with breakfast included. Behind the house is Union Canal, which boasts beautiful walks and waterside restaurants. The late Victorian house is fully refurbished to provide all modern comforts, including free Wi-Fi. Balmore has maintained many of its original features, including a wrought-iron staircase, chandeliers and ornate cornices.
