Cross Haven is a beautiful Victorian villa situated in its own private garden. It was formerly used as a convent, and has retained its peaceful atmosphere. Cross Haven offers good quality bed and breakfast accommodation, evening meals are also available by prior arrangement. Spacious twin and double en suite rooms feature a TV, DVD player and hospitality tray. A ground floor room is available which may be suitable for guests with mobility difficulties.

Cairnryan House - Set directly across from the shore of Loch Ryan, and boasting uninterrupted views, this licensed guest house is 500 metres from Cairnryan ferry terminal and 5 minutes from Stranraer terminal. Originally the Manse, the family-run Cairnryan House was built in 1894 and still retains many of its original features. All of the en suite rooms are non-smoking and furnished to a high standard, with plenty of features to ensure your comfort. Most of the rooms have views over Loch Ryan. Guests can sit in the beer garden with a drink, whilst watching the ferries go by. There is off-road parking for 10 cars. Unfortunately, children under 13 years cannot stay at Cairnryan House.

Balmoral Hotel - This small country inn is situated in the centre of Moffat, a former spa town where national bard Robert Burns was one of the many visitors who came here to take the waters. For walking enthusiasts, Moffat lies at the midpoint of the Southern Upland Way and is an excellent base to explore this part of Scotland. Edinburgh, Glasgow, Galloway and the Lake District are all within easy reach. The inn is fully licensed and offers great food from 07:00 till 21:30 every day.

The guest house is just 4 minutes' drive from Stranraer's ferry terminal and only a one-minute drive from Cairnryan, making it ideally positioned for the Stena Line ferries to Belfast and the P&O ferries to Larne. With all the peace and quiet of an out-of-town, semi-rural location, Rhins of Galloway is nevertheless within a short drive of the area's shops and eateries. In a spacious and relaxed setting, all of the high-quality en suite accommodation is comfortable, clean and well presented. Despite the style and stature of the building, the fact that there is no licensed bar or restaurant means that Rhins of Galloway is defined as a guest house rather than as a hotel. The premises are only open to guests.
