Sea Point Hotel - Just 10 minutes' walk from the harbour, this beautifully preserved Victorian building offers charming rooms, freshly cooked breakfasts and a fully licensed bar. The Sea Point Hotel is a historic, Grade II listed building, originally commissioned by the Admiralty in 1860 to house sea captains and their families. Today, the house still retains many period features, including a grand, sweeping staircase and original fireplaces in most rooms. All rooms have TVs and tea/coffee making facilities. The cosy residents' bar has a CD jukebox, fruit and quiz machines, a TV and even a karaoke system. A full traditional cooked English breakfast is included in the price and is freshly cooked to order in the traditional Aga oven. Lighter options are also available. The Towers - The Towers guest house is a landmark Victorian building in a superb position with beautiful sea views, overlooking Hillsborough nature reserve on the South West Coast path and Ilfracombe's picturesque harbour. A 10-minute stroll will take you to the hub of the town and harbour offering a good choice of restaurants, cafes and public houses. There is also a golf course that is less than a mile (1.6 km) away. The Towers offers a quiet, relaxing stay with many of the rooms benefiting from sea views. A hearty breakfast is served in the dining room and the guest house also caters for vegetarians.
