Separate from the Mildmay Colours, a 200-year-old oak-beamed traditional country inn, where breakfast is served, the retreat is just a 4-minute drive from Mothecombe Beach on South Devon's spectacular coastline, and near the Dartmoor National Park. The Retreat comprises of 6 en suite rooms, including family accommodation which is on 3 levels and sleeps 5-6 people. All rooms have been refurbished and all have independent ground floor access.

Rowcroft Lodge - Rowcroft Lodge has a super quiet location overlooking Goodrington Park with clear views from the balcony to the sea, and Brixham in the distance. The non-smoking, Rowcroft Lodge has a 4-star Guest Accommodation rating from Visit Britain. The lodge offers good home-cooking and comfortable en suite rooms, with large family rooms. All rooms have tea/coffee and TV with Freeview channels. The many attractions of Torbay are close at hand, with Paignton Zoo within a mile of the hotel. The centre of Paignton is less than a 10-minute walk away. Rowcroft Lodge is situated over 4 floors and does not have a lift. Single-sex groups are accepted, with special conditions applying.

The Ravenswood Hotel - The Ravenswood Hotel offers simple, clean, good value, non-smoking accommodation, close to Torquay Museum and on the Agatha Christie Mile. Clifton Grove - Between Torquay Harbour and Babbacombe Downs, home of the cliff-top railway, this well-preserved, 19th-century building offers charming accommodation and some limited free parking. The Clifton Grove is a Grade II listed building, originally built by the Royal Navy to accommodate the families of their captains. The harbour, the seafront and the town's many other attractions are a 10-minute stroll away. All rooms have washbasins, ironing facilities, hairdryers, tea/coffee and LCD flat-screen TVs with Freeview. Some rooms have en suite bathrooms and rooms with shared bathroom facilities are also available. The property has a small residents' bar offering a large choice of drinks at reasonable prices.
