Marina Bed and Breakfast - Situated in the centre of Scarborough, within easy reach of local attractions, this family-run bed and breakfast presents itself as the ideal base to explore the popular seaside resort. Located on North Marine Road, if you turn left out of the door it is only a 5-minute walk to the beach and the Peasholm Park area where the new Sands complex is being built. Turn right out of the door and it is just a short walk to the town centre. The Marina Bed and Breakfast is a basic home-from-home bed and breakfast run by Paul and Svetlana Lester. Every room has a TV and tea-making facilities. All rooms are newly decorated and the owners have completed another refurbishment and installations.

Facilities also include limited car parking and a spacious rear garden. This 17th century country hotel is situated in its own grounds within a few minutes walk of the River Esk in the village of Ruswarp. It is an ideal centre for fishing, boating, walking, horse-riding, golf or just quiet relaxation. The historic fishing village of Whitby, with its magnificent beach, safe bathing and varied holiday pastimes, is only a mile and a half away. Just inland is the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors National Park, the perimeter of which is easily accessible from a network of major roads. Please note that Ruswarp Hall is totally non-smoking and operates on a Bed & Breakfast only basis.

Dalescroft - Originally built in 1908 for managers of the nearby Rowntree's chocolate factory, the centrally located, friendly Dalescroft has a 3-star rating from the AA. Dalescroft offers bed and breakfast accommodation, each morning serving a full English breakfast in a charming building. Within walking distance of York's historic city centre, Dalescroft is located in the quiet Bishopthorpe Road area of York, just 400 yards (360 metres) from the medieval city walls. Park you car for free and take a pleasant 10-minute stroll along the river into the city. Dalescroft's quiet, but convenient location means that the railway station, racecourse and all of the York's amenities are within walking distance.

Suddaby's Crown Hotel - BandB - This eight bedroom old coaching inn providing bed & breakfast accommodation, has been run by the Suddaby family since 1871. A small friendly bed & breakfast with very long-standing horse racing and brewing connections. Seven real ales are always available in the main bar, which has a welcoming fire and good conversation. The pub has been included in the Good Beer Guide for over 21 consecutive years and we have also been voted Camra'a Rural Pub of the Year for seven out of the past eight years. We opened Malt'on hops, our specialist bottled beer and wine shop in 2005 to showcase to our own award-winning beers and many more micro-breweries' beers. Our wine is top quality and the range increases on an ongoing basis.

Dairy Guest House - The Dairy is a lovingly restored and upgraded Victorian town house, keeping its 19th-century character and original features. In central York, Dairy Guest House is less than 300 metres (300 yards) south of the medieval city walls. It is an easy stroll from York's many attractions and museums. Each individually styled room has a TV with DVD, hot-drink facilities, mineral water, hairdryer and alarm clock. You will also find toiletries and information folders. Some rooms have ceiling fans. Dairy Guest House was originally a family home and joinery business, built in 1890. It then became a dairy for many years, until being turned into a guest house in 1978.

Alvera Court - Colin and Brenda Grant offer a warm Scottish welcome to holiday visitors and conference delegates to our attractive, friendly and comfortable totally non-smoking home. We are small, privately owned and run by ourselves, offering twelve individually decorated bedrooms. Visit Britain Four Star guest accomodation, centrally located opposite the International Conference Centre, with a short stroll to the town centre, the bus and train stations. We are a town house with stairs to all levels. Sorry we do not have a ground floor bedroom. We have our own private car park next to the hotel, and look forward to offering you the facilities you expect, but with a homely and friendly atmosphere. Access at all times once checked in. We do not serve dinner now as there are more than seventy restaurants a five minute walk from us into town. There is a trouser press, iron and ironing board available.

Brindley - This family-run guest house is 10 minutes' walk from the town, North Bay and South Bay. Full English breakfast is included in the room rate. Brindley has 6 en suite double bedrooms, and 2 single rooms with a shared shower room. All rooms have a TV and tea-making facilities. Back rooms overlook Scarborough cricket ground. A few minutes' walk will bring you to Peasholm Park and boating lake.
