Low House - This 17th-century Lakeland country home offers delicious cooking, cosy open fires, free Wi-Fi and a warm welcome, all in a peaceful setting just 5 minutes from local amenities. Low House is located within a mile of Windermere and a few hundred metres from Windermere Golf Club. All the facilities of Windermere are 25 minutes' walk away. The house is filled with antiques, books and paintings, as well as modern, useful facilities. The bedrooms have king-size beds and Molton Brown toiletries.

Blue Pig - In the beautiful market town of Kirkby Lonsdale, this newly renovated 17th-century cottage offers comfortable, bright accommodation in 3 lovely en suite rooms. The cosy lounge with log-burning stove can be made available. A cooked English breakfast is included in the room rate. There are 3 car parking spaces for guests (150 yards/140 metres from Blue Pig). The cottage is conveniently located just off the A65, only a few miles from the M6 motorway. The peaceful, convenient location makes the Blue Pig ideal for exploring the town and countryside.

Strands Hotel - Strands Hotel/Inn was built in the eighteen hundreds. The building is nestling in the heart of Wasdale Valley, which has beautiful views of the surrounding fells. It is situated only a short walk from the Deepest Lake (Wastwater) in England, also the Highest Mountain (Scawfell) and the Smallest Church which is at Wasdale Head. Mark, Lesley and family have run this typical Lakeland Hotel since June 2006. Mark brews his own ales, our home cooked traditional food is very popular with visitors and locals.

Broadlands Guest House - Set in the heart of the Lake District, this traditional Lakeland stone Victorian house is ideally located on a peaceful road just 2 minutes from the centre of Windermere village. Locally organised tours can also be arranged for you, with collection and drop-off at the property. Although not a hotel, Broadlands Guest House is proud to have been awarded '3 AA Yellow Stars Highly Commended', in July 2009. This award is given to the top 10% of 3-star Guest Accommodation. Today, the house's great location makes it a wonderful base from which to explore the stunning natural beauty and breathtaking scenery of the Lake District, which so inspired Wordsworth, Wainwright and Beatrix Potter. Windermere train and coach station is just a 3-minute walk away and all of the town's pubs and restaurants are also nearby. The house still retains its beautiful original exterior, slate roof and several other lovely period features. There are 3 comfortable, modern en suite rooms with showers, and one room with private facilities.
