The Derby Arms - Perfectly situated in the Lake District National Park, The Derby Arms is a traditional country pub offering comfortable rooms, providing an ideal base from which to explore the South Lakes. The extensive restaurant menu is complemented by a daily specials board with an emphasis on local, fresh produce. The Willowsmere - This guest house was built in the mid-19th century using Lakeland stone. With award-winning gardens, The Willowsmere is a grand Victorian residence ideally located for a visit to the Lake District. Martin and Sue welcome you to their friendly and cosy home. In recent years, The Willowsmere has been tastefully restored and renovated to include luxuries you might not expect in a guest house. Jo and Alan offer quality accommodation and excellent value for money. They are very happy to advise you on any walks and have maps to assist you. They can also book you on to tours and make dinner reservations for you at one of the many excellent restaurants in the surrounding area, or beyond. The house is situated opposite Ellerthwaite Park and is a gentle 20-minute walk from Lake Windermere itself.
