The White Swan Hotel - The White Swan is now Middlham's finest hotel, in a prominent position overlooking the market square. The hotel has 17 individually furnished en-suite bedrooms and combines a traditional flagstone bar, serving a good range of cask ales and wines by the glass, with a contemporary 60 seat brasserie, serving morning coffee, lunch and dinner daily. Middleham castle overlooks the hotel and the town is famous for its horseracing links and is an ideal base for walkers and visitors to the dale.

Hilton Lodge Guest House - The friendly, recently refurbished Hilton Lodge has elegant B&B accommodation in superior Victorian rooms. It is 10 minutes walk from York Minster and the city centre. It is a 10 minute walk to the city walls but less to the start of York's many wonderful eating places. From here to get to the city center you can either walk round on the walls at Micklegate Bar towards the spectacular ancient Minster or under them where the shops start. Both ways take around a further 10 minutes, so it is 20 minutes walking from us to the middle of town. Our emphasis is on friendliness and cleanliness. We offer full English breakfast in the dining room or relax and take advantage of our breakfast in bed at no extra charge.
