Commodore Hotel - Located on the cliff tops at Southbourne, next to the cliff lifts and Fisherman's Walk, this hotel has spectacular views. It is close to the New Forest and Bournemouth town centre. Panoramic sea views across Poole Bay take in Swanage to the West, and Hengistbury Head and the Isle of Wight to the East. Great-value food and drinks, including Real Ales, are served daily in the lounge bar. Commodore Hotel was used to house American airmen in WW2. Today, following refurbishment, each bedroom has a brand-new bed with luxurious duvets and pillows, and Gilchrist and Soames toiletries. Bathrooms have new fittings and power showers.

The Richmoor Hotel - This is a lovely family-run hotel on Weymouth seafront. It has a friendly, homely atmosphere, excellent home-cooked food and cheap bar prices. The Richmoor Hotel is at the quieter end of the seafront but within walking distance of the town centre and Greenhill Gardens. All the en suite rooms were refurbished in the last 2 years and come with plenty of facilities. Some rooms have sea views over Weymouth Bay. The staff are helpful and sociable, and you can enjoy live entertainment in the bar.
