The York B&B is in a quiet cul-de-sac overlooking a bowling green. The Sycamore Guest House is 10 minutes' walk or a short taxi ride from York Railway Station with its excellent rail links to the rest of England. The guest house also offers free, guaranteed on-street parking, opposite the house, at the end of the cul-de-sac.

Alvera Court - Colin and Brenda Grant offer a warm Scottish welcome to holiday visitors and conference delegates to our attractive, friendly and comfortable totally non-smoking home. We are small, privately owned and run by ourselves, offering twelve individually decorated bedrooms. Visit Britain Four Star guest accomodation, centrally located opposite the International Conference Centre, with a short stroll to the town centre, the bus and train stations. We are a town house with stairs to all levels. Sorry we do not have a ground floor bedroom. We have our own private car park next to the hotel, and look forward to offering you the facilities you expect, but with a homely and friendly atmosphere. Access at all times once checked in. We do not serve dinner now as there are more than seventy restaurants a five minute walk from us into town. There is a trouser press, iron and ironing board available.
