New Hall Guesthouse - This licensed B&B on the edge of Llanwrtyd Wells has light and airy rooms with large en suite bathrooms. New Hall Guesthouse is a converted church meeting hall. Black Mountain Lodge - This lovely, old stone building is at the foothills of the Black Mountains amid beautiful countryside and views of the Brecon Beacons. It has a restful feel and comfortable rooms. The oldest part of Black Mountain Lodge is believed to date back to the 17th century. It has ample free parking and a bar and restaurant open from 18:00 to 21:30 Friday to Monday. The Lodge is in the village of Glasbury, between Brecon and Hay-on-Wye, and is ideal for a peaceful country break. A wide of range of activities is available in the local area.

Llanerchindda Farm Guest House - Nestled amid 50 acres of Welsh countryside, this family-run guest house boasts comfortable en suite rooms, spectacular views of the Bran Valley and a wealth of outdoor activities. Guidfa House - In picturesque gardens, this charming Georgian house is in the village of Crossgates, just north of Llandrindod Wells. Bright and spacious bedrooms are individually furnished and include a ground-floor room. All rooms have comfy beds, huge fluffy bath towels, soft bathrobes and quality toiletries. Trained Cordon Bleu chef Anne prepares modern and traditional dishes that use fresh, local ingredients. The wine list has some new and interesting new choices for 2009. Dinner is available Wednesday to Saturday (if reserved at least 24 hours in advance). A selection of soups, freshly baked bread and cold platters is available on other nights. Aleppo Merchant Inn - Situated in the heart of beautiful Mid-Wales between Newtown and Machynlleth. This 17th century Inn offers a warm welcome to travelers and locals alike.
