Ty Morgan's Guest House - This thoroughly modern 3-storey guest house offers contemporary accommodation in the heart of the historic market town of Rhayader. Black Mountain Lodge - This lovely, old stone building is at the foothills of the Black Mountains amid beautiful countryside and views of the Brecon Beacons. It has a restful feel and comfortable rooms. The oldest part of Black Mountain Lodge is believed to date back to the 17th century. It has ample free parking and a bar and restaurant open from 18:00 to 21:30 Friday to Monday. The Lodge is in the village of Glasbury, between Brecon and Hay-on-Wye, and is ideal for a peaceful country break. A wide of range of activities is available in the local area.

The Horseshoe Guesthouse - In the old town area, just 5 minutes' walk from the River Wye, this 200-year-old Welsh stone building is rich in original character and traditional charm, with wood beams and exposed stonework. In the rural market town of Rhayader, known as the gateway to the Lakeland of Wales, the Horseshoe Guesthouse and Restaurant makes a great base from which to explore the region's magnificent mountains, valleys, woods and lakes. With original 18th-century timbers and a log fire, the lounges are furnished with deep comfortable chairs. The Horseshoe has been recently refurbished and now combines modern comforts and facilities with this lovely old building's historic character. The rooms are decorated in a traditional country style and each room has tea/coffee making facilities, modern central heating and a flat-screen TV. The fully licensed restaurant offers superb homemade food, freshly prepared using locally sourced produce. The wine list offers a selection of wines from around the world to complement your meal.

New Hall Guesthouse - This licensed B&B on the edge of Llanwrtyd Wells has light and airy rooms with large en suite bathrooms. New Hall Guesthouse is a converted church meeting hall. Breakfasts can be large and traditional, vegetarian, continental or a mix of all three. Ingredients are locally sourced and organic wherever possible. Evening meals are available by arrangement. There is a ground-floor suite suitable for those with mobility difficulties.

Liverpool House In Powys - Liverpool House is a large double fronted guest house with excellent accommodation, both with and without en suite. Situated in town, but with superb views of surrounding hills and countryside. This guest house is situated in the heart of Wales. Guests arriving at Liverpool House are assured of a warm welcome by the owner Mrs Ann Griffiths. Liverpool House has a total of 9 bedrooms (5 in the main house and 4 in the annexe. Colour television, beverage tray, hairdryer and iron in all rooms. All rooms are centrally heated and are on two floors. No two rooms are the same size or decor. Visitors have access to two lounge areas where they can talk or watch TV on the large TV sets available. Due to the new law it is now an offence to smoke in these premises. Pets are accepted by prior arrangement. Please note that, in the interests of other guests, dogs are not allowed in the dining room and lounges. Throughout the guest house, a very high standard of cleanliness is maintained. Private secure car park and locked accommodation for cycles are available. Groups and families are welcome.
