The Bat and Ball Inn - In a small, pretty village in the Oxfordshire countryside, just 8 miles (13 km) from Oxford city centre, this former coaching inn offers delicious food, real ales and a charming village atmosphere. The Bat & Ball Inn has a great bar, with an enormous collection of cricketing memorabilia. With pine tables and flagstone floors, the bar has a cosy and comfortable feel. You can enjoy an excellent selection of hand-pulled ales including LBW, Marston's Pedigree and a weekly changing guest ale. The restaurant has a great reputation for serving fantastic food, with seasonal menus offering good quality and value for money. The Bat & Ball has appeared in the Good Pub Guide and more recently received an entry in Michelin's Eating Out In Pubs Guide. Wi-Fi is available in the bar and restaurant. All of the rooms have now been sympathetically refurbished in a contemporary style. Each room is named after a famous cricketer and has starched linen bedding, a modern en suite bathroom, an LCD flat-screen TV with digital Freeview channels and solid oak furniture.

Eurobar Cafe and Hotel - BandB - Set in Oxford's historic city centre, next to the bus station and 5-minutes' walk from the train station, this small hotel is ideally located close to University colleges, theatres and shops. A unique mix of traditional English and modern European styles, the caf?-bar is open from 09:00 - 23:00 Monday-Thursday; 09:00 - 24:00 Friday and Saturday; and 12:00 - 22:30 on Sunday for bar snacks, tea, coffee, traditional ales and lagers. The Falcon BandB - The Falcon B&B is a 10-minute walk from Oxford city centre, and has views of the college boathouses. The warm and friendly B&B is within 2 late-Victorian town houses located opposite Queens College's playing fields. Each room is well furnished and has an en suite shower. Athena Guest House - In East Oxford, this friendly, family-run guest house offers comfortable en suite accommodation at good value rates in well-equipped rooms, all with TV, DVD player, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. The Athena Guest House is one of the original red brick Victorian detached houses common in the area. Today, the original building has been converted to house 7 comfortable en suite rooms, though it still retains lot of charm and atmosphere. In the village of Grendon Underwood, 20 minutes from Oxford, Shakespeare House is a beautifully restored Grade II Listed property that dates back over 500 years. Once a coaching inn, the building is part Elizabethan and part Tudor. Today it has luxury rooms, a welcoming drawing room with large fireplace and TV, and an elegant dining room with log fire. Parklands - Parklands is in a beautiful tree-lined residential area of North Oxford, and within 15 minutes' walk of the city centre. It has free Wi-Fi access throughout.
