The Mowbray - One of only 20 guest accommodations in the UK to reach the final of the AA's friendliest Landlady Award 2009, this Edwardian building is close to Eastbournes seafront, theatres and conference centres. In the heart of Eastbourne's Theatreland, the Mowbray occupies a prime position on the corner of an elegant Edwardian terrace, connecting the seafront with the theatres and conference centres. This family-run guesthouse overlooks Devonshire Park and the International Tennis Courts, just a stone's throw from the beach and the promenade, and only a short distance from the town centre. All of the en suite rooms are front facing, with some enjoying views of the rolling South Downs. Each room has tea/coffee making facilities and a TV with 8 channels and a DVD player. Taking great pride in the stylish d?cor, cleanliness, friendly atmosphere and home cooked food, the resident owners, Darren and Laura, provide excellent value for money and a personal service.

Artist Residence - In the heart of Brighton, looking out across to the iconic West Pier, this tall, elegant Regency town house boasts free Wi-Fi, individually decorated rooms and quirky original artwork. The carefully preserved, Grade II listed building features 6 comfortable bedrooms, most of which have views of the West Pier. Rooms are individually decorated in a bohemian and eclectic style, perhaps not to everyone's taste. Those with a sense of adventure will find the weird and wonderful style quirky, charming and fascinating. All of the rooms are en suite and decorated with colourful and contemporary fabrics and furnishings. Each room has a flat-screen TV, a hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. The interior is ever changing, as artists come and go, drawing on doors and walls as they please. Traditional, conceptual and sometimes absurd artwork is combined to create a unique environment. The on-site gallery is a non-profit organization run by young local artists.
