Keswick Lodge - In the heart of the Lake District, surrounded by the region's breathtaking scenery, this welcoming traditional pub offers tasty, home-cooked seasonal food, cask ales and cosy en suite accommodation. With stunning views of the surrounding hills, and numerous shops and inns on the doorstep, Keswick Lodge is located in the heart of the vibrant market town of Keswick, which is on the north lakeside of Derwentwater. This 18th-century former coaching inn has been refurbished in a modern style, but with the traditional original character carefully preserved. The lodge offers comfortable en suite accommodation and each room has an LCD flat-screen TV and tea/coffee making facilities. The well-stocked bar offers a selection of wines, spirits, lagers and real ales from Thwaites Brewery. The menu features freshly prepared dishes, made with local produce and seasonal ingredients from Cumbria and the surrounding region. The Log House - In the heart of the English Lake District, this historic Norwegian log cabin is now a restaurant and bar with 3 comfortable en suite rooms, all with LCD flat-screen TVs, DVD players and free Wi-Fi. The stylish and contemporary restaurant offers a relaxed atmosphere in which to enjoy superb food, made with delicious, fresh seasonal produce from the region. There are 3 double rooms above the restaurant. Two still have the original log beams and the third has stunning views over the fells. Each has an en suite shower room, hairdryer, tea/coffee, and luxurious bathroom products from the White Company. In the town of Ambleside, at the head of Windermere, the Log House was originally brought to the Lake District by local artist Alfred Heaton Cooper nearly 100 years ago. Cooper used the cabin as a home and studio, but today it is a 4-star restaurant with rooms.

Lingwood Lodge - This peaceful, modern guest house is a pleasant 400-metre walk from Lake Windermere and the attractions, restaurants and shops of Bowness. Churchill Inn - Located in the centre of Ambleside, with private parking and all the amenities literally on your doorstep. Within the hotel there are two bars: the larger Popular bar and the more tranquil Monty's bar with an open fire etc. A traditional bar menu is served in the the main bar with a 10% discount for residents.

Crow How Country Guest House - In a stunning rural setting in the historic Rydal Valley amidst the fells, this grand Victorian building dates back to 1848. Crow How was built as a farm house in 1848 from the stones of ancient Rydal Hall. It was then converted into a country guest house in the early 1930s. Crow How has been carefully renovated to provide you with a well-located Ambleside bed and breakfast, ideal for exploring the the beautiful Lake District.

Later try one or even two of the quaint pubs around and about in bowness. For an intimate evening in we have now built a cinema room to enjoy your very own viewing of films from TV or dvd on the big screen ( yes we even can provide the popcorn )
