This 18th-century former coaching inn has been refurbished in a modern style, but with the traditional original character carefully preserved. The well-stocked bar offers a selection of wines, spirits, lagers and real ales from Thwaites Brewery. The menu features freshly prepared dishes, made with local produce and seasonal ingredients from Cumbria and the surrounding region. Unfortunately the hotel does not have a lift.
