Ambleside Central - In the beautiful English Lake District, in the heart of the town, Ambleside Central offers great-value, room-only guest accommodation in stylish, modern and spacious rooms Carefully preserved and sensitively refurbished, this beautiful Victorian building still retains many of its original features. The newly renovated rooms are light and airy, with a contemporary style and modern comforts, including crisp white bed linen, comfortable beds, fresh towels, hairdryers and TVs. Irons are available on request. All rooms have either an en suite shower or a private bathroom. The accommodation is family-friendly and several rooms can be used as double, twin room or family rooms, sleeping up to four people. Hot drinks, including filter coffees, teas and hot chocolate are available 24 hours and there is an on-site Italian restaurant. Ambleside Central is just around the corner from the town's main bus stop and limited secure parking is available at an additional cost.

The Derby Arms - Perfectly situated in the Lake District National Park, The Derby Arms is a traditional country pub offering comfortable rooms, providing an ideal base from which to explore the South Lakes. Strands Hotel - Strands Hotel/Inn was built in the eighteen hundreds. The building is nestling in the heart of Wasdale Valley, which has beautiful views of the surrounding fells. It is situated only a short walk from the Deepest Lake (Wastwater) in England, also the Highest Mountain (Scawfell) and the Smallest Church which is at Wasdale Head. Mark, Lesley and family have run this typical Lakeland Hotel since June 2006. Mark brews his own ales, our home cooked traditional food is very popular with visitors and locals.

All reservations over Christmas, New Year, Easter and Public Holidays require a 3-night minimum stay.

Firgarth Guest House - This elegant Victorian house, built in Lakeland stone around 1875, offers views to the rear over Wynlass Beck, along with comfortable en suite rooms, a residents' lounge and private parking. Firgarth Guest House is conveniently situated just 12 minutes' walk from the centre of Windermere, which offers a range of shops, pubs and restaurants. The guest house has a great location, between the busy villages of Windermere and Bowness. It is a clean, comfortable and reasonably priced bed and breakfast, situated in the number one location within the English Lake District National Park: Windermere. The guest lounge is comfortable, with plenty of books and information on local walks, as well as a selection of games to keep you amused in the evenings. The traditional breakfast menu is all freshly prepared. There is a choice of orange juice, grapefruit, fresh fruit salad, cereals, yoghurt and a variety of cooked-to-order breakfasts.
