Lowbyer Manor was built in the late 18th century and is a grade II listed property. The Manor has 9 en suite letting rooms, each with tea/coffee making facilities and colour TVs.

Braemount Guest House - With attractive gardens and the option of 4-poster beds, Braemount aims to offer that little extra. The Old Vicarage - In quiet, peaceful wooded grounds, this family-run bed and breakfast has free parking, an indoor swimming pool, a sauna, a hot tub and a rooftop terrace with magnificent views of the fells. Close to Ambleside's town centre, The Old Vicarage has a quiet location with views over Rothay Park to the fells beyond. Full of charm and character, this spacious Victorian house has now been converted into an impressive 4-star bed and breakfast. The house offers beautifully furnished and decorated en suite rooms, all varying in size, style and views. There are newer, more modern rooms, as well as more traditional rooms. All rooms have mini-fridges, TVs, video recorders and DVD and CD players. Videos are available for guests' use, free of charge. There is a large lounge with an open fire, a piano and a small snooker table. Free Wi-Fi is available in the public rooms. A tasty full English breakfast is available each day.

Rose Cottage - A relaxing retreat in the heart of the Lake District, this charming 16th century cottage is situated in the picturesque village of Bowness, one minute's walk from Lake Windermere. Just a short stroll away from Bowness's shops, caf?s, restaurants and attractions, Rose Cottage provides comfortable bed and breakfast accommodation. Please note that the cottage is bed and breakfast only, no additional meals can be provided. Still maintaining many of its original features, the house can be unsuitable for disabled guests or those who have trouble with stairs. Unfortunately no ground floor rooms are available. Parking is available at a nearby public car park. Permits are available from Rose Cottage. A refundable deposit of GBP 10 is required.

Nagoya Country House - Set in an elevated position, in a peaceful area of Bowness, yet only minutes away from the town centre, this beautiful modern house boasts spectacular views over Lake Windermere. The house is just a stone's throw away from the stunning natural beauty of the Lake District and some of the world's best historical and scenic walks. The convenient location also means you can enjoy a range of water sports on the lake. Also nearby are many places of interest, including the wonderful World of Beatrix Potter. With a friendly, relaxed and informal atmosphere, the Nagoya prides itself on the quality of its service. The owner, Jennifer Bailey, maintains her accommodation to the highest standards, ensuring that your stay is relaxing and memorable. Please note that the Nagoya operates a 2-night minimum stay policy at weekends and a 3-night minimum stay policy during public holidays.

Ellerbrook House - Ellerbrook House is small, family-run guest house in a quiet leafy street just a few minutes' walk from shops, cafes and restaurants, and a 15-minute walk from Lake Windermere. The staff pride themselves on high standards and quality, and provide a friendly, welcoming and comfortable environment for exploring the Lake District. Rooms are well-appointed and situated on 2 floors, with either en-suite or private facilities. All rooms are well equipped with an LCD TV/DVD and hospitality tray.

Rosemount Guest House - Our quality B&B is the ideal launch pad for your Lake District stay. After a satisfying night's rest in one of our firm but comfortable beds, stroll down to the elegant dining room. There you will find a breakfast to keep the keenest walker or cyclist going all day. Visit us once and you'll want to stay again. We regret that we do not accept one-night stays.

Somerset House BandB - Somerset House is in the town centre, 10 minutes' walk from the railway station. With free Wi-Fi, all rooms are en suite and there is a licensed bar and bistro open until 22:00 every day. Families with children of all ages are welcome. Somerset House is also suitable for pets. You can also bring your bike to Somerset House, which is on the W2W Route 20 cycle route. Somerset House is close to all the amenities of Grange-over-Sands. The nearby railway station has direct links to Manchester Airport.

Holly Cottages Guest House - Welcome to our non-smoking, environmentally conscious guest house where recycling, chemical free cleaning, organic and local produce are top of our agenda. Placed in the centre of Bowness, the family-run guest house is within minutes of Lake Windermere. Holly Cottages was built in the 17th century and is situated in the conservation area. In a prime location for all local activities, Holly Cottages offer bed and breakfast in 4 en suite individually styled rooms complete with Hubble Bubble Organics handmade soap. Private parking is accessible at all times and pets are also welcome.
