Each individually styled room has a TV with DVD, hot-drink facilities, mineral water, hairdryer and alarm clock. You will also find toiletries and information folders. Some rooms have ceiling fans. Dairy Guest House was originally a family home and joinery business, built in 1890. It then became a dairy for many years, until being turned into a guest house in 1978.

Suddaby's Crown Hotel - BandB - This eight bedroom old coaching inn providing bed & breakfast accommodation, has been run by the Suddaby family since 1871. A small friendly bed & breakfast with very long-standing horse racing and brewing connections. Seven real ales are always available in the main bar, which has a welcoming fire and good conversation. The pub has been included in the Good Beer Guide for over 21 consecutive years and we have also been voted Camra'a Rural Pub of the Year for seven out of the past eight years. We opened Malt'on hops, our specialist bottled beer and wine shop in 2005 to showcase to our own award-winning beers and many more micro-breweries' beers. Our wine is top quality and the range increases on an ongoing basis.

Lyness Guest House - Near Peasholm Park, the North Bay and Scarborough's town centre, this family-friendly guest house offers free Wi-Fi and charming en suite rooms, with free on-street parking available nearby. The Lyness Guest House has a great location, on the valley road of Columbus Ravine, with convenient on-street parking on both sides of the road. Parking permits and parking-scheme discs are available for guests, free of charge. All of Scarborough's shops, pubs, bars and restaurants are within easy reach. All of the clean, fresh en suite rooms have TVs and tea/coffee making facilities. Family-run, the Lyness Guest House has been under new ownership since January 2007 and prides itself on offering a high standard of cleanliness and a friendly atmosphere. The owners have young children themselves, and welcome and encourage families to stay with them. The family rooms have DVD/video players and a DVDs and videos suitable for children are available on request.

The Wheeldale - Located on the western cliff of Whitby, with a premier sea view, this award-winning accommodation offers a freshly cooked breakfast and a self-service bar. The Wheeldale was the winner of the Accommodation of the Year award at the Whitby Hospitality Association awards in November 2008. Most of the rooms are large and modern with an en suite, and a few smaller rooms are available. Four rooms have a stunning sea view, and the whole of the hotel is non-smoking. Crossing the road, you can walk straight down onto the beach for fresh sea air and brisk walks.

Alvera Court - Colin and Brenda Grant offer a warm Scottish welcome to holiday visitors and conference delegates to our attractive, friendly and comfortable totally non-smoking home. We are small, privately owned and run by ourselves, offering twelve individually decorated bedrooms. Visit Britain Four Star guest accomodation, centrally located opposite the International Conference Centre, with a short stroll to the town centre, the bus and train stations. We are a town house with stairs to all levels. Sorry we do not have a ground floor bedroom. We have our own private car park next to the hotel, and look forward to offering you the facilities you expect, but with a homely and friendly atmosphere. Access at all times once checked in. We do not serve dinner now as there are more than seventy restaurants a five minute walk from us into town. There is a trouser press, iron and ironing board available.
