Hazeldene Guest House - We are situated in the heart of Bowness-on-Windermere and offer good quality, non-smoking accommodation suitable for a variety of guests. Low House - This 17th-century Lakeland country home offers delicious cooking, cosy open fires, free Wi-Fi and a warm welcome, all in a peaceful setting just 5 minutes from local amenities. Low House is located within a mile of Windermere and a few hundred metres from Windermere Golf Club. All the facilities of Windermere are 25 minutes' walk away. The house is filled with antiques, books and paintings, as well as modern, useful facilities. The bedrooms have king-size beds and Molton Brown toiletries.

Firgarth Guest House - This elegant Victorian house, built in Lakeland stone around 1875, offers views to the rear over Wynlass Beck, along with comfortable en suite rooms, a residents' lounge and private parking. Firgarth Guest House is conveniently situated just 12 minutes' walk from the centre of Windermere, which offers a range of shops, pubs and restaurants. The guest house has a great location, between the busy villages of Windermere and Bowness. It is a clean, comfortable and reasonably priced bed and breakfast, situated in the number one location within the English Lake District National Park: Windermere. The guest lounge is comfortable, with plenty of books and information on local walks, as well as a selection of games to keep you amused in the evenings. The traditional breakfast menu is all freshly prepared. There is a choice of orange juice, grapefruit, fresh fruit salad, cereals, yoghurt and a variety of cooked-to-order breakfasts. The guest house is regretfully unable to accept any arrivals after 20:00.

Crompton House - Crompton House is a warm and friendly Victorian guest house located midway between the busy villages of Windermere and Bowness. The guest house is a clean, comfortable and reasonably priced bed and breakfast, with an excellent location in the English Lake District National Park, Windermere. The 7 guest rooms are non-smoking and each has an en suite bathroom. There is one four-poster room, one family room and 5 double rooms. A grilled full English breakfast is served in the dining room, as is a good choice of cereals, fruit and juice from the buffet table. Within easy walking distance there is a host of restaurants catering for all tastes and prices. There is also a cinema, nightclubs, pubs and shops. You can catch a steamer from the pier at Bowness for a memorable trip on the lake. This is a 3-star rated guest house.

Churchill Inn - Located in the centre of Ambleside, with private parking and all the amenities literally on your doorstep. Within the hotel there are two bars: the larger Popular bar and the more tranquil Monty's bar with an open fire etc. A traditional bar menu is served in the the main bar with a 10% discount for residents.

1 Park Road - 1 Park Road is a tranquil, modern and luxury guest house. It is located a 2-minute walk from Windermere town centre and a 10-minute walk from Bowness and the train station. Luxury rooms are spacious and contemporary in design with Moroccan drapes, modern soft-furnishings, views of the distant hills, sofas and king-size beds. Barnes Fell - With a 4-star Gold Award from Visit Britain, this charming B&B offers 3 beautiful en suite bedrooms in a peaceful setting, with views over the Lakeland Fells. All reservations over Christmas, New Year, Easter and Public Holidays require a 3-night minimum stay.
