Jo and Alan offer quality accommodation and excellent value for money. They are very happy to advise you on any walks and have maps to assist you. They can also book you on to tours and make dinner reservations for you at one of the many excellent restaurants in the surrounding area, or beyond. The house is situated opposite Ellerthwaite Park and is a gentle 20-minute walk from Lake Windermere itself.

Firgarth Guest House - This elegant Victorian house, built in Lakeland stone around 1875, offers views to the rear over Wynlass Beck, along with comfortable en suite rooms, a residents' lounge and private parking. Firgarth Guest House is conveniently situated just 12 minutes' walk from the centre of Windermere, which offers a range of shops, pubs and restaurants. The guest house has a great location, between the busy villages of Windermere and Bowness. It is a clean, comfortable and reasonably priced bed and breakfast, situated in the number one location within the English Lake District National Park: Windermere. The guest lounge is comfortable, with plenty of books and information on local walks, as well as a selection of games to keep you amused in the evenings.
